Good description of what Dak has been doing very well and the one thing he needs to improve on.--passes over 20 yards in the air. I think this can happen as well. He's had one dropped and missed Beasley against New York.
Yes good point @Irvin88_4life that Pi should've been called. I honesty don't know how a decent fair minded ref could miss a wrap up tackle while the ball is 5 feet above the receiver.

I'm guessing Dak will learn and improve.

I think his numbers on deep passes look worse then they are. His recievers have dropped beautiful deep ball passes, although he can improve. Plus play calling needs to have some called

His red zone passing is the only area I would like to see real improvement. Tony can throw red zone TD's even when the defense knows what is coming, I think Dak can get there especially considering the threat of running the ball that he has that Tony doesn't. I would like to see them roll him out more in the red zone to freeze dB's and lb's in coverage. There are things Dak can do that we haven't had in a qb since Quincy.

I don't know if I'm making this up or not, but it seems to me we've always had trouble in the red zone under Garrett. Romo and Dez are great at the fade, but I recall Romo having to make many superhero plays to get into the endzone

You're right. People are elevating Romos legend. I remember us annually struggling in the redzone. I'd love to see the rankings since Romo became the starter

Agreed! Romo definitely isn't any better at throwing a fade in the red zone than Dak. I can't count the number of times we get close and couldn't finish out a drive.

You're not. The one year we didn't was 2014 and that was because our O-line was in sync and Demarco Murray was nigh unstoppable. We've had problems in the redzone under Garrett.

There's certainly nothing wrong with being rated #4, especially in a year where several youngsters at QB are distinguishing themselves. Needless to say, several difficult games lie ahead in the weeks to come. Here's hoping he'll continue his success throughout them all. I'm sure we're all pulling for him to make us proud. He's had several drives that might have easily boosted his ratings where a TD might easily have been an immediate result except for a yard or two. He'll do just fine.

I appreciate what PFF tried to do here to give Dak some kudos....I just get stuck on a couple of their points.

1)Simple offense....really? Is this more simple than throwing 16 passes 2 yards or under like Wentz did last week?
2) The play they diagrammed as being his best...it was a great play....but look at what they say, "Prescott processes quickly and eliminates Witten as a first option, getting to his second read, Dez Bryant, on a crosser, only to see the WR bottled up by the cover-1 hole player with his man in trail position. " How can we take this site seriously when they spin an obvious wide open Dez Bryant with a CB 2 yards behind him then watch the MLB completely obliterate and PI Dez in that statement is beyond me. Take a look...

Again, I do appreciate them trying to give him credit.
