Nick Wright made the point when Jimmy Johnson was on the show. Teams Surrounded by talent are doing it with average QB play without having to pay millions. It doesn’t make sense to do it, unless the QB is truly elite.

Was a great throw how come it didn't happen anytime from say 10 minutes left in the 1st quarter until it was way to late in the 4th quarter and the game was already out of reach

I don't know..players were running plays tapping out for air or managing injury. The entire team went dead...but you play till last whistle a dime is a dime.
A competent coaching staff can win with Dak

His agent is CAA, they don't feel anything. They're a machine. They put out $40m as a non negotiable target. If Dak can't get it, they let him loose to languish.

There are no "elite" qb's, that is a myth.
Qb's are hot and cold, and need good coaching and good team mates to help them look good.

Dak is good enough, he just needs the right coach to come in and design offense around him,
rather than try to plug Dak into their offense.

Yes, there are elite QBs that can play in any system. Alex Smith throwing for 28 TDS while Mahomes throws for over 50 in the same system is a clear example of average versus elite. Elite QBs can do multiple things, meaning the system isn’t limited by the QB.

He made the AFC championship and got beat out by an ELITE QB in Brady... You would actually have an argument if he lost out to the Brady of this year, but he didn’t, which means you don’t. And further, nobody says being elite guaranteed a SB, just that elite QBs are more likely to win a SB.

The fact is, you claiming there is no such thing as an elite QB is absurd.

Had they kept dilfer they might have won a 2nd SB.

Well I am absurd then because there is no such thing, only in your mind does it exist.
ask 10 different people what elite qb is and you get 10 different answers, because it is whatever is in their minds.

Some QB's are better than others, or more skilled,smarter, but it depends on a bunch a variables, as to how well they will do.
you dont need a great qb to win a SB, you need a great team that is playing good at playoff time.

Wow, if he really had offers similar to the ones Wentz and Goff got, him and Dak must feel like complete fools.

They are going to miss out on a lot of money.

With the way Wentz and Goff have played and how each team has taken a step back this year, GM's will most likely devalue the position and the rate for a mid range franchise QB will drop significantly.

Dak has lost out on 10s of millions of dollars at least.
