Why do people like him and Stephen A Smith think it makes them sound nicer if they say a variation of "its not the team or org I dislike, its the fans"? I dont get why they are comfortable saying that. If anything, the reverse would make them nicer people. More like its not the fans I have a problem with, its the organization. There are fans many of us believe are bigger fans of Dak than they are Cowboys fans. Who on here is a bigger fan of CeeDee or Parsons than they are of the Cowboys?

Or they don't cut or extend him this year, let's ride with his cap hit this year and hit 2025 with a clean slate and a lot of cap room.

Sometimes you just have to let things break.

Dak counts almost $60 million against the cap this year. That number would be too high even if he was successful in the playoffs.

The Cowboys must extend him if only to reduce that cap hit. Get his contract manageable first, then figure out what to do with him down the road.

Paying a ton of money for a TB is a bad decision.

But paying a ton of money for a QB that you admit has issues in big games and needs a plan to help him not fall apart in big spots is a bad decision.

what he paid Pollard for the season he could have gotten a couple of hammers and actually have used Deuce and Dowdle. Was a bad move but JJ and Pollard are Probly buddies and he won’t dump him after the injury. How could you think someone that uses his legs for a living could come back after a nasty injury like that and be a player he never was in the first place. Elliot is not even close to the same but I think he would have done better on this team than Pollard did this season. Elliot actually wanted to play with his team. Pollard knew he was gonna be gone after this year.

Uh.....I said season was over BC Dak got hurt and we all saw how terrible Rush was in the preseason.

To everyone's credit, the team played ultra conservative and the D stepped up while Dak didn't miss as much time as initially feared. You are great at making stuff up though.

My confidence is nothing new...maybe because you leave for large chunks of the season while we are winning and only reappear like a cockraoch when the stench of a loss occurs.

1. At least you are no longer denying that you said the season wasn’t over after Dak went down . You sure you don’t need to go under the tent to check if you got a concussion. The previous off-season you were crying about how you never said such a thing and I was making things up.

2, You blamed Jerry for the crap team that surrounded Dak, because Dak played like garbage.

3. Cooper Rush proved this notion we were surrounded by a crap team to rest. You and the rest of the excuse makers were saying after Rush was winning that this is the type of offense they need Dak in and in order to justify it, you guys harped on how he was “at his best” in 2016.

4. So now the offense went “ultra conservative” by play design and the defense actually “stepped up”. So if they went ultra conservative, that entails logically the reason they don’t want to throw it so much is because they didn’t have too. It’s almost like comparing the stats between pick 6 Dakota and Cooper Rush is pointless.

5. Of course we all know they were the top 3 and number 1 ranked as far as TOd defense the year prior to when Dak went down, so this idea you were not expecting the defense to step up once Dak went down is a load of poo.

Face it bro, you are back at it with the garbage excuses. Hurts had a WAY WORSE defense than Dak did this year, the absolute worst ranked pass defense and they couldn’t stop anybody on third down. They basically canned their first year DC mid season and made Matt Patricia their DC. But we don’t here you making the excuses for sB appearance in his third year Hurts with regards to his defense that you make for 8 year, never been past the second round playoffs Dak and his TO feasting, top 5 defense.. it looks like to me when Dak’s defense plays like the Eagles defense, he looks way worse than Hurts did..
