he lit up a giants team, that had nothing to play for. in a meaningless game for both teams..... when the giants secondary was walking instead of running and tackling.

and btw, Jason Garrett had a 300 yard games against the GB packers...…...does that make him anything special?

and to your point, he is 4-3 without zeke. scoring less than 10 points in 3 of those games....I wouldn't brag about that.
What an utterly terrible rebuttal.

Many here are concerned about overpaying for Dak.
Many are weary about paying him Top money because they have doubts of his potential to be a Super Bowl winning QB.
While Dak's ceiling is in question/debatable, I think one thing we do know is what his Floor is.
Does anyone really think that he will regress from where he is now?
With his Floor being established as what we've seen up to this point, he deserves to be paid the market rate ($30-32 Million per year avg) for Top 10 QB's.
There is the Garpalo/Carr/Cousins range ($25-28 Million) and then the Ryan,Wentz, Rodgers, Wilson ($30-34 Million).
Dak may not be deserving of the Top 5 QB range but he has clearly demonstrated that he is above the upper Top 10 Range.
He has outperformed the $25-28 level QB's. He has demonstrated his ability to win and with the talent around him improving, he looks to have a chance to excel even more.
Therefore, anything less than $32 million a year seems unlikely.

Won't matter for 2019. Dallas doesn't have the cap space.

March 2020 looks better. TCrawford and Hurns probably gone. More cap $$$.

Dak choked in the rams game...he PADDED his stats with two meaningless drives at the end of the game.....he was 1/9 on 3rd down completions...… and in the first half after the first drive, he lead three drives totaling less than 6 minutes...… he started the secondhalf the same way..... when it counted he choked.

Wait so the entire 2nd half was "meaningless"? Scoring a td in the 3rd doesn't count now?

we were down 22-7 at that point. the rams went into time killing mode on defense. playing prevent defense. that was the longest drive of the game since the first drive. given the defense was gassed by then and the rams having their way with the defense. defense did step up and stop the rams the next drive. but offense choked again and turned the ball over on downs, when Rams defense picked it up again. so the offense did have a chance again, but they choked.
