We do parties too. Hoping to get some county fairs on the schedule. They can’t resist bashing the QB. It’s just what they do here.

Guys who prefer Dak over the Cowboys is a myth created by Eagles fans like MC. He has no bookmark.I called this out a very long time ago here. I don’t have a problem with Dak fans. I do have a problem with ones that are Dak first then Cowboys fans.
We would have been stuck with Cooper Rush as our QB. That would have been dumb. The First extension was dumb.
Surely you don't really think that's the normAt least one of Dak’s fans admitted on here (I have the bookmark) that they would rather Dak be paid than the Cowboys be able to compete.
That's probably not really the case because if a decision had been made not to extend Dak they would have been looking for someone to either take over as the next franchise QB or for someone better than Rush to bridge the gap until that guy was found. We would have been stuck with Cooper Rush as our QB. That would have been dumb.
Post it.At least one of Dak’s fans admitted on here (I have the bookmark) that they would rather Dak be paid than the Cowboys be able to compete.
You are right. This is just a dumb lazy false narrative that some fans prefer the QB over the team. I don't see that at all. Now they might have point with Tom and NE. I wonder how many fans they lost when he retired.Guys who prefer Dak over the Cowboys is a myth created by Eagles fans like MC. He has no bookmark.
He can’t and won’t…Post it.
Even IF there is ONE, what the hell does that prove? It means 99.9.9% of his supporters don't approve of the contract. He can’t and won’t…
The Cowboys being successful or Dak getting every penny he can from Jerry? He can’t and won’t…
That is the case because finding someone better would’ve been very difficult but some of you just don’t seem to get that. That's probably not really the case because if a decision had been made not to extend Dak they would have been looking for someone to either take over as the next franchise QB or for someone better than Rush to bridge the gap until that guy was found.
Cooper Rush was better than Dak last season, so that destroys your first "point". If Rush isn't a good QB then what's that make Dak? Considering Rush has been the better QB more recently? That is the case because finding someone better would’ve been very difficult but some of you just don’t seem to get that. Some of you act like real good QBs grow on trees. Had we let Dak walk after the 2020 season we might have ended up with Justin Fields and would’ve had a trade up to get him because he was taken one spot ahead of Parsons. Fields has already proven he was a mistake. We would have ended up with him and passed up generational player. We would likely still be struggling trying to find a QB. Glad fans like you don’t run the team.
But they didn't- hence no hope. I surprised you're struggling with this! You literally just said if they got rid of Mike and Dak you’d have hope lol.
Last season was the year to start over.https://sports.yahoo.com/article/cowboys-overshot-market-5-million-025335537.html
Since it is that time of summer when nothing is going on so why not another thread on Dak's contract?
This article points out what I have been saying since the deal was announced. Jerry gave Dak the worse possible contract from the team's perspective. It's $5 million more per year than what it should be. It comes with a no trade clause and a no franchise tag clause - and it is only 4 years making it more difficult of spread out the bonus money and restructures.
There was no need to do this deal with Dak. At some point a smart team sees that the player's demands far exceed his performance value and they decide to move on. Jerry really struggles assessing a player's value.
But it is also important to note that Jerry gave away all his leverage with Dak's previous contract. He never should have agreed to a no trade clause. But that is still no excuse. Sure Dallas could have lost Dak to free agency, but is overpaying him by at least $5 million per year worth keeping him?
I also dislike the argument that were are no alternatives. I do agree finding a QB is hard in the NFL. We've been down that path before. But maybe the alternative is to do something different. Build a strong defense. Build a strong running game. Find a game manager and let him keep the team in games while you continue the search for the next franchise guy. At some point Dak will be retiring anyway. At some point they will have to start a new QB search. Better now than to be handcuffed by a contracts worth well more than the QB you are playing.
Haha! I knew you would be the first one to reply. You’re the biggest waste of time on this board. Not about to entertain you anymore.Cooper Rush was better than Dak last season, so that destroys your first "point". If Rush isn't a good QB then what's that make Dak? Considering Rush has been the better QB more recently?
Fields, since entering the NFL, has 1 fewer playoff win than Dak does.
I'm not glad that a fan like you runs the team. That's why it's been a loser for 30 years.
Exactly lol…..Even IF there is ONE, what the hell does that prove? It means 99.9.9% of his supporters don't approve of the contract.
Yep it’s no point.Haha! I knew you would be the first one to reply. You’re the biggest waste of time on this board. Not about to entertain you anymore.
