Dak's Contract Situation, current or future **merged**

It's crazy what a 16-25, 160 yard, 1 TD has fans thinking.

8 of the last 10 games under 200 yards passing, too.

The Blake Bortles contract is the problem though. That set the market for guys like this. I'd take Bortles over Dak in a heartbeat, but I really don't want a guy like either one of them.

I want a dynamic NFL passing quarterback.

Is Dak Prescott just a placeholder for a pure pocket passer?

Even after three years in the league, accuracy issues and questionable field vision continue to plague Prescott. In fact, those issues may be getting worse as he continues to trend in the wrong direction.

Prescott tends to leave big plays on the table in favor of more conservative options or simply failing to see wide open receivers. And when he does recognize a big play opportunity, there’s a 50/50 chance he’s able to even compete the pass due to his continued bouts of inaccuracy.

And despite the team finding success in Week Two by utilizing Prescott as a running threat, Dallas is using this season to determine if they should make a long term investment in Dak. And the shelf life for running quarterbacks in the NFL is historically very short.

It’s fine to question Dak and his future.

But this article is trash.

If Garrett can get a leash like Landry, why not Dak Prescott. In fact we should do the opposite. Make Dak highest player in the league topping Rodgers.

I’d like to see Fitzgerald from Tampa in this offense—smart and accurate.

Big difference between the weapons Tampa ended up seeing come to fruition, and what we have. Fitz on this team is not still FitzMagic...

Maybe, maybe not. I’d still like to see what he could do. I hope they draft a smart, accurate passer in 2019, or trade for a FA, then have a legit QB competition.

Idk man Fitzpatrick has always been a boom or bust quarterback. Stretches of great play, followed by periods of horrendous play in which he turns the ball over like crazy.

Dak will do enough to sell him. There’s already built in excuses with our recievers, OL and play calling.

Someone will be the scapegoat. Like Linehan. We’ll focus on WR , OL and TE in draft .

And sign Dak to a smaller contract like 3 years 50 million similar to Bortyles which won’t recieve as much criticism nor prevent us from attempting to surround him with more support.

For better or worse this is our future for several more years.
