Dak's contract

In all honesty the most likely outcome is that he holds out after three years and refuses to play for the 29 million in base salary. This contract and everything that went along with it such as the use of the franchise tag prior to signing and all the guaranteed money was a master class negotiation by Dak and his agent and a complete bend over and take it from Jerry.
True story

There’s really no reason for fans to get serious about winning a championship when we have an owner who’s top priority isn’t winning one.

Jethro has most of us all bamboozled. Fans are buying into the hype /perception and why he continues the revenue juggernaut.
You need an owner with a mindset like Tom Brady he plays the game to win super bowls The money he makes is just a bonus

Jerry plays the game to make money if he wins a super bowl it's a bonus

Why are we talking about getting out of Dak's contract sooner than most people think is possible? Is the OP under the impression we are 5-11 rather than 11-5 and headed to the playoffs as NFC East champs?

Don't you know the draft is more important than the playoffs?

So you're correct, Dak is not like the Jets, he lost to them.
Not only did he lose to the Jets it was another headscratcher performance in a much needed win situation. That was supposed to be a get right game but on the flip side the defense showed up.

:hammer:

When you get a chance look up every quarterbacks record against quality teams except for Brady, Rodgers, and Mahomes. Take a good look at Stafford.:omg:

Remember when Stafford was touted as the next great QB here and such? Good times lol. Also, hello from Chicago, I'm heading to New Orleans this morning and I return tonight.

When you cut out all the fluff and headlines, it is actually a 3 year 97M deal. Thats the guaranteed money. The way the contract is currently structured , we have an out after the 2023 season if Jerry doesn't do a restructure of it...........which I agree is a long shot.

The upshot here is that if he continues to struggle against everyone outside the NFC East, there is an opportunity to move on sooner than most think.

he’s UFA after 2024.

has a no trade / no tag clause.

he will be gone in 3 seasons. 8(

Injuries like ROMO? . . dudes leg was hanging off. . . and now his shoulder or ankle injury have caused him to suck . . . at what point do we claim Dak is an injury prone QB
when you have 3 straight years of injuries that caused you to play poorly already listed it. but here il repat myself,

you want o call romo that dak fits the bill now.

2019 shoulder lost the philly game because he couldn't throw
2020 leg major injury
2021 shoulder in preseason, calf before the bye..so 3 years in row hes come up injured and its effected this game and mental toughness because hes played ie not running etc not taking easy 1st downs because of the injures in the back of his mind

he had hand swell up once as well.... dont remember when but he toughed it out but point is 50% of his career hes now coming up injured pretty often.

by the very definition hes now injury prone IF Romo is the baseline.hes played 6 years and now the last 3 have had injuries lead to losses.

that more injuries in 6 years then Bradys had in 19? :)

I don't think Jerry is as sold on Dak as you are.
Remember, Wentz and Goff got their 100M extensions long before Prescott got his and they were both traded away.
sold on dak hes signed and hes our guy and until then he will get my support..

So you think the FO has done an excellent job and shown a great track record in paying talent appropriately?

Most here don't need to be shown a poor track record since Jimmy was fired to know the FO didn't have a clue, sorry.

How long has it been since they won a SB?. They must be on a roll....... It's just not in the right direction.

The real problem with this team is that FO doesn't have the Balls to run this team without emotion because the dollars come win or lose.

Fish or cut bait, is not in the organization's mantra. Too many players, more often than not cash out because of s good year, and the front office panics they may lose that guy.

20 plus years of stupidity is more than long enough to wake the hell up and be objective. Jerry's ego is this organization's Achilles heel. End of story.
you dont end stories, you can go away that would be an end id like to witness.

Defense showed up? :muttley: They got torched for 338 yards and 2 TDs by Sam Darnold and gave up a 95 yard bomb.

A week later the Patriots held Darnold to 86 yards, picked him off 4 times, and shut the Jets out.

Honestly we could go 6-11, and Dak could have 47 INTs. But, if he still has 30 commercials. You would never see a change lol.

PappyDog!!! The next time you type something true will be the first time. We are all waiting.
Dak Can't win outside of the division. That right there is just plain old a lie. Thats conceding that qb s win anyway. Which is another lie you tell.
Teams win not players. So on that alone you are a lying P.O.S
