From DC Facebook page:

"Prescott is now one of only four players in NFL history to produce 400 passing yards, four passing touchdowns and a perfect passer rating in a single game."

Nice job Dak.

Keep it up.

and yet there are still many on here that will say it was "just the giants" and that he is not a top 10 qb, nor does he desere to be a franchise qb....blah blah blah....

Kellen Moore also came out guns a blazin' in the NFL.

That's a really great accomplishment to have, for both of them.

Dak is a beast.

The Dak and Moore combo will prove to be a great duo.

You have to give Dak credit for being a film guy and not simply relying on his physical talent.

This is why a guy like Dak can be an NFL star and Johnny Manziel will retire from the Canadian Football League.

It comes down to personality and mindset and Dak has the mindset of a winner and so does Kellen.

Who are the other 3?

I'm gonna guess Manning, Brady, Rodgers
That would be wrong.

Nick Foles, Jared Goff, Ken O'Brien. Dak was great, but this collection of stats is a fluky thing.

If you get rid of the 400 yard requirement, it's been done 27 times, and the usual suspects start to rise to the top. When you throw 4 TDs and have a perfect passer rating, there's usually no need to throw for so much volume (all 27 of those QBs did it in a winning cause).

Fun fact: if you relax it to 400 yards-4 TD passes-140 passer rating, you get 22 games, 21 victories and Tony Romo's 51-48 loss to Peyton Manning's Broncos.

If you take out the 400 yards then its statistically different hence 1 of only 4 to do it. SMH

Perfect Passer rating has been done 74 times using today's criteria... (not trying to lessen the importance). With the most being 4 by Ben Roethlisberger and Payton Manning.

One of four? C'mon, Dak, you can do better than that!

Poor Romo.

Geno Smith December 28, 2014 New York Jets Miami Dolphins W 37–24 20 25 358 3TD , what does it really mean except he had a great day, lets keep it in perspective it's one game in over 3 seasons it could be just a outlier. I seem to remember a few real clunkers.

Oddly, I don't find that fact any fun at all.

Thanks, Monte.

The QBR is the worst stat to rate a QB by. Look at those other 3. Look at Geno Smith. Hell, look at Dak's accomplishments so far, 1 good 1 bad season 1 playoff win?

Lets let this play out for 3-4 years and see a larger data set. I am going to stand by my opinion that he is an average QB playing on a very good team. If you put him on the bills/jets/dolphins, he would be out of the league in 2-3 years. We can all bicker back and forth but time will be the telling factor. I will come back in 3-4 years and bump this thread to remind you that he joined those other 3 in mediocrity.

And before we start saying the Giants have a bad defense. I'm pretty sure there has been worse Defenses than the Giants who went up against HOF QBs.
