Dak's season ending injury was the most cupcake injury I've ever seen! Not even touched, just some random fluke injury that only a 60 million a year QB that doesn't want to deal with the inconvenience of having some rookie OLs blocking for him. Poor baby...
Maybe the dumbest post this year. Try keeping up with the news before saying really dumb things. This cannot even be supported as an opinion it’s so dumb and so wrong regarding the severity of the injury. Duden kept traveling for additional opinions and couldn’t find a doctor who would say it might heal on its own.

Cupcake injury or not I can guarantee you that Dak is happy he got his bag and is relieved he gets to deflect criticism of his suckiness on this sucky team by not being a part of it.

I think that would be a pretty common reaction for anyone to have.

Not sure though, he might have wanted the opportunity to keep going and try to turn it around. Whether we believe he could do it or not doesn't matter, if he believed it. Say what you want about Dak, but we've seen him repeatedly bet on himself.

There was definitely some sort of undisclosed injury in training camp or the off season. Did anyone notice that he had trouble throwing a spiral this year ? Almost every replay the ball was wobbly. Years past I didn't notice that nearly as often
Yah. The walking boot was shady and it’s clear he has not wanted to run.

Ironically— His couple of runs vs ATL looked halfway decent for the first time all year. But in the pocket he looked spooked and antsy and lacking poise and zip on the ball, though his arm talent has always been average at best.

I think he's a loser QB that was given the option to quit on his horrible season early and took it.
This.

I’m a football (soccer, sorry englishmen) fan and always been so into it. Its is very very very common players get injured in a horrible season and use it to not play so their value doesn’t plunge, some or them even fake it.

I think we all agree that Jerry moves all strings at the “organization”, i wouldn’t be surprised if he planned all this.

I agree conspiracy theories are crazy and serve almost no purpose, but its well known that happens in other sports and we also know how Jerry do business, and take a guess, this a business.

~Looks at avatar~ Julius Caesar's reign ended like a joke. A few dozen guys supposedly took turns "stabbing" him. Where were the eyewitnesses??? A dictator? Going out like that? Throw on a few leeches. Needle and thread. Should have been good as new but no. He decided to take the easy way out and got himself cremated instead. Weak.

Caesar was SUCH a pansy for doing that. Man... the nerve! And Joan of Arc letting herself get burned at the stake? Walk it off, cupcake!

I knew this guy that wanted to get out of work one day so he had a healthy tooth pulled. Don't know if he faked pain to have it pulled or had it done by a friend with dentist assistant experience.

Anyway, I'll bet he misses that tooth these days. Dak is too smart to ever be in a position to miss walking comfortably sometime in the future.

Wouldn't he have to be highly trained on how to flex a certain way to deliberately hamstring himself?

Wouldn't he worry about detection from one of thousands of medical specialists who may have witnessed the injury on national TV or several sports clip videos?

Considering the level of dedication and commitment to his physical conditioning and training, does this theory seem plausible?

Do you believe, perhaps, that Travis Frederick deliberately contracted Guillain-Barré syndrome because he just wanted to stay home and play video games all day?

I suspect that Zack Martin is deliberately getting old just because he wants to retire.

I'm disappointed and frustrated as well but I concluded long ago that it's not always somebody's fault. Certain aspects of our lives are determined by random luck.

For the Cowboys, good luck has been elusive lately, and Dak's injury just adds to the pile of evidence.

I think its an 'old man' injury. We see them a lot in Australian Rules football. Lack of pre-season, lack of preparation.

I think the injury is real.. but I think Dak is in no rush to get back and is probably pretty happy that he gets to collect his cheque without actually being held accountable for being atrocious.

This hateful crap needs to be blocked.

This is embarrassing. Straight out childish hatred.
It’s really is crazy that 6th grade level “bad words” are outlawed on this board, but posting the most hateful things possible about a player is more than ok. A couple weeks back someone posted speculating that Dak had an addiction to pain killers…all good

I think everyone will try to avoid surgery if possible. It could heal on his own but in this case there's a risk of it taking longer, not healing properly and them needing surgery later or dealing with future limitations.
how much more limited can the dude get? His legs are shot already, and his arm has turned into a noodle

IMO, an NFL QB should be athletic enough and flexible enough to scramble 5 yards without tearing his hamstring off the bone. Maybe he's been too busy getting married, building a new home, and screwing the team to worry about his own personal fitness.
