Get some help....I don't know what happened to you or what you are going through, but this kind of thinking, can't be good for you. Unless, it's just messing around and a way for you to amuse yourself..I hope that's all it is.
Some people can’t be saved. Pappy is one of them.

Yup. It's just aging in the NFL.

Outside of freaking T. Newman finding the fountain of injury free play after being cut here, there's a reason why 30 years old is still considered old in the NFL.
12-20+ years of a contact sport takes a toll on players at 30 years old.
Even if they are in shape.

Non contact injuries happen to any person.

Just a **** luck injury in a year that can be summed up as ****

That being said, unfortunately for Prescott, injury luck has not been on his side since 2020. Can sort of tell once a player starts getting fluke injuries more than likely it will continue.

Sean Lee was the king of fluke/random injuries.
Yup, and the saddest part is that even players that take fitness and diet very seriously can't prevent certain injuries.

Sean Lee, LVE and Rayne are all serious at those things but certain body types are just more suseptible.

Even though I'm a Romo fan, I can't put him in the category of fitness freak......he showed up with Dad bod, but could still spin the hell out of a ball

It's just unlucky at times, these guys had the ability to be legit NFL players but their bodies just couldn't take the daily grind of professional football.

Tyron Smith is/was a beast. 290lb+ looking jacked. He definitely was in shape and his diet had to be on point. But just suffered from random injuries. Some just fluke-y.

Dak's season ending injury was the most cupcake injury I've ever seen! Not even touched, just some random fluke injury that only a 60 million a year QB that doesn't want to deal with the inconvenience of having some rookie OLs blocking for him. Poor baby...
You mean like you never seen Sean Lee in practice take a step you know they call these no contact injuries happens all the time I see people step off a curb and blow an ACL you're obviously clueless and you're an absolute ridiculous troll I say more if I don't wanna get benched but you're a horrible horrible fan and you're a horrible person acting like he faked it and he's soft are you kidding me we watched Aaron Rodgers barely take a step backwards and RIP his Achilles off many Achilles injuries are non contact they literally take a step the wrong way it tightens up and it tears off acls a lot of ligament injuries happen without contact without a tackle it's just about a in an angle that's it and I'm not a doctor I just played sports all my life and I know how it happens you could just be jogging if you take a wrong step and your knee locks and it gets hyperextended the wrong way bye bye acl..

Apparently you're a lost cause you have no reason to comment because you've either never experienced real sports organized sports team sports and you've never been injured I've been playing sports since high school and these things actually happen and sometimes you don't even remember when and by the way his hand was also swollen and bleeding the second time I remember in his career where he tried to wrap his hand up and finish playing when he blew a blood vessel on the back of his throwing hand and it's bleeding all over the place and somehow you think that he's soft...

you're not a criticyou are an expletive that I'm not allowed to say and we're all thinking it and you're ridiculous so I can just go as far as your troll you're a bad fan and you're a horrible person i'ma say it again you have no idea what you talking about..

Non contact injuries happen all the time... Now to finish this up putting you on ignore and I wish there was a full block list where I could just never even see that you're on this board ever again because we just went through this with those idiots who claimed he was soft and tried to put up this nonsense and then had to eat their words and apologize the next day 'cause he has to have surgery now....:oldcouple::mad: This place is becoming a clown show so we just call it a circus none of y'all belong a Cowboys fan that's for sure and some of you I don't believe are you're hidden and I block most of you who are eagles fans and fans of other teams like Green Bay we've seen you now I think there's more of you in here you double spies have to all be on ignore..

It happens, but I'd like to see him actually play in preseason. But I will say this, calling the injury "cupcake" is ridiculous. Non contact injuries are among the worst, and they happen. He's one of many players that have had it this season and will have it this season.

Get well soon Dak!
Happens all the time to even people who are simply walking jogging and anybody who's played sports know non contact injuries happen quite often doing nothing wrong step and your leg or knee or calf is in a tight position at the time your body just seizes up, and it tears the tendon off or rips..

it is very normal thing to happen it's not for soft people it's just bad happenstance we saw Aaron Rodgers do it there was nothing happened there is he faking his injuries why are we not talking about some injuries like DeVante Adams talking about his little wrist hurts and he may not play,...

This hate for some of our players goes beyond ridiculous and it shouldn't even be allowed in here I know we're supposed to be able to have our 1st Amendment rights....But some people need tpo be shut up...this is ridiculous out of control hate on some of oir players to say random untrue nonsense and the place is becoming full of rumors it's a rumorville it's become a therapy session people are venting and they're hating on everything about the Cowboys and this is supposed to be a Dallas Cowboys fan site not a hate site one thing to be upset and disappointed it's another thing to just be a straight up a hole...

I posted before, they knew he wasn’t 100%. They signed him anyways. It’s not his fault, I hate him so let’s blame him. It makes me ashamed of cowboy fans, not cowboys.
Oh it had nothing to do with his hamstring what do you mean it cast it was called a soft walking boot for his ankle he had some swelling in his ankle the injured ankle have you ever played sports you know that scar tissue can cause swelling and occasionally it'll act up and that's why you put the boot on had nothing to do with his hamstring and signing him anyway are you kidding me he snapped his ankle off and they resigned him and some of you guys post are worse than the original posters because now you're with the hyperbole the guessing and the opinions he was not injured when he was signed but if that was the case how do you figure after coming off a completely broke off ankle that was career threatening then he has one of his best years with 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions well worth the signing to me you guys keep with these conspiracy theories this place is becoming so insidious in the goo from the hate we're gonna become the 1st ghostbuster movie in this whole thing is gonna come crashing down y'all are ridiculous he was not injured before they signed him he did not have this hamstring injury before they signed him he was running some of his best in this game he was not limping the soft cast was his damn injured ankle from the previous surgery simply swelled up it only lasted a couple days he was not limping he's not having a bad year his offensive line's having a bad year his coaching Staffs having a bad year his defense is having a bad year everybody on his team has had bad games in a bad year

I don't know anybody that's playing their career year right now but finding excuses to why Prescott wasn't playing his best ball this year, that would be his teammates, his coaching staff, and his GM, you got it ??but y'all just stop!! This place is becoming insidious you're just supposed to say anything that comes out your mouth and then you find one guy to back it up and Mr. rusty no he was not injured prior and he's not having a bad year he's having an expected bad year when you look a....aying well this year it's a team game...

You know what I think goes on today that we really didn't see much in the past? I think these modern day athletes work out to the point of losing flexibility.
You remember David Boston the bigger he got the worse he got he ruined his career in the NFL because of working out but it depends on how much you work out and bulk up Terrell Owens was not injury prone and he was the beast at working out so is Derek Henry it depends on where you take your workouts if you're trying to become the next gym rat and trying to get on the circuit for bodybuilders like David Boston did yes but that's not what happened here this is just part of the human anatomy and people trying to find reasons for it it happens to people in everyday life that walk off a curb wrong or step wrong or when they're just simply jogging and something gives out but we've seen people like Aaron Rodgers is not a workout king and he stepped wrong in his Achilles torn he don't workout but stop trying to find excuses I mean I can appreciate your theory it's better than the other ones these dudes are saying he already was injured before he was signed because his walking boot they just called the cast and had nothing to do with a hamstring because you don't put a cast on your hamstring this is getting out of control but you're right in some cases dudes workout too much but that's not the case for the quarterbacks at least not these ones he had bad luck he was running his best he was trying his best and he got injured most of which is because our offensive line has not been blocking well guys are not getting separation he has to hold the ball he's taking more hits he's getting sacked more and that's why he's getting injured more being just plain sucks this year and finding things to point out is insane it's all bad all of it's bad there's no silver lining this year..

Oh wait there's one silver lining if the coaching staff smart they need to start pulling the veterans screw the stats and let's get all the young players the rookies and first second and third year players as much playing time as possible so they're better next year and start messing around with offensive and defensive line lineups that could help you this year this needs to be the longe.... this for next year that's my opinion.. They need to throw out the book and stop thinking about winning and start figuring out who needs to be on this team next year and who's not...

If we were a playoff team, rest assured he would be back and try to let it heal on its own. Dak is a lot of things, but a quitter he is not. This is likely similar to a pitcher who has shoulder inflammation in September, and either plays/rests based on his teams postseason chances
Kinda odd...he's only committed if we are winning?

Silly. Did you see DeShaun Watson's injury. No one touched him either. The same thing with Aaron Rodgers last season. There are injuries like these all the time in the NFL. It happens.

No. It is just common sense.

No one is willingly going under the knife without getting a second opinion.
Dak was given an out of a horrible season and he took it.

He was never playing another snap this season regardless of surgery or not.

He was always going to milk it. Many of us said this the day the injury happened.

No, this was a team decision to sit him for meaningless games. It's the Cowboys and does anybody know the extent of the injury? If we were in a playoff race I don't think there is a rush to put him on IR, and hope he can make it back for a wild card game
