To me this is all up to the Cowboys' coaching staff. Keep this offense the same, maybe mix in a few more pass plays, but the bottom line is the defense is going to carry this team. Throwing the ball 45 times a game again isn't how this team is built, with Dak or Rush at QB.

If Dallas can average even a touchdown more per game when Dak comes back just watch this defense with even more chances to pin their ears back and rush the passer.
Wonder what percent plays Rush changes at the line....vrs Dak
Limit Dak after return?

Mike and Kellen need to go into the first meeting with Dak when he can play and throw a leash on the meeting room table and say this is the gameplan get used to it.

The last four games have shown the team wins more games the less the ball is Dak Prescott's hands. He will likely start again this season due to his ridiculous contact but even so - the above should not be forgotten if the winning formula is to continue going forwards.

He'll divide the locker room when he returns to QBing and we start losing again. Our guys have got a good dose of winning and nothing beats it. They will demand Cooper Rush to return if Dak is losing games.
Ya locker room will be his final nail in the coffin.
He has already lost the team right, Mr. Micah????

I hope when it’s time he gets out there and helps the team. Keep the same formula. Get the ball out. Last year we lost first the fort game and he took us on a streak until injury. Maybe he can come back from injury and do the same. He can see who is playing well the plays we are running and the high percentage passes thats working. I don’t care about stats. Rush had 100 yards this weekend. He is mobile so that will help us.

There's nothing more selfless than someone telling you how selfless they are.
He's such a fake.
Shouldn't he be rehabbing or something, why is he trying to grab headlines after a win he had no part of. I think he will try to divide the locker room next. Anything to force his way back into the lineup and destroy the team chemistry that was built in his absence.
Do you guys think he called a press conference or chased down a reporter to announce this? The reality is media chases down the players, and players respond to questions. That's how it works. Every NFL QB in the same situation would give some version of "I'm itching to be out there but happy and excited for the team and will do what I can to support the team".

He gets his full game check just to stand and be the star cheerleader. That's 40 million dollars divided by 4 divided by 17, less taxes. So about $400-500K, maybe on the lower end for a game played in California.

Wouldn't you like to stand on the sideline and cheer your team on for 3-4 hours for around $400k for the day after taxes?
I would be glad for the pay, but I would rather be playing while I get paid.

Because it’s toxic, you have some trashing Dak then others after Cooper that he ain’t really good enough. Enjoy the team!!
True. I don't really think it makes too much difference which one starts. Prescott hasn't shown himself to be a playmaker when it actually matters and Rush is a practice squad QB with limitations.
