Dak is a better QB than Rush. Mind you he should be be as he is paid to be our franchise QB.. There has been excuses made for Dak over the past seasons but let's be honest here, this is a very good Dallas team. It has a lights out defence, an offensive line which is more than holding its own , a good running game and special teams that if not exceptional are doing fine. All in all the team as a whole are winning games.
Dallas have beaten the two teams that contested the last SB , a 4-1 team on the road and a Washington team which although nothing special has a very good defence.
The point is that this team is good enough to make a SB. It's Defence alone gives it a chance. Dak is our franchise QB. This year he will come back to the team in the best of health ( his words) and ready to go regarding his hand injury. Dak should be the missing piece that elevates this team to greatness.
He really should lead this team all the way. We have wanted a balanced team for years and we have one. Rush won't take us there but Dak is our franchise QB and he must justify the salary and his position as our franchise QB. He's a better QB than Hurts. We have beaten the Rams. The 49s have a poor QB. We held Tampa to 19 points.
It's Daks time. Failure to get to the big one this year , with this team , will be intolerable.

Do you guys think he called a press conference or chased down a reporter to announce this? The reality is media chases down the players, and players respond to questions. That's how it works. Every NFL QB in the same situation would give some version of "I'm itching to be out there but happy and excited for the team and will do what I can to support the team".

There's no more excuses. We have a SB caliber defense. It's Dak's time to show that he should be the QB of the Dallas Cowboys.

Agree. This is his last chance as far as I’m concerned. If this defense stays healthy and keeps on playing the way they have been, Dak and his fans will have no more excuses. I am not a big Dak fan but I’ll be rooting for him and the team when he returns. We will see how things turn out.
