I like a lot of the moves this team has been making to get better, but ultimately it has to show up in their play on the field and record.
It would be my up most pleasure.I will cross my fingers that you get a big ole' plate of crow in the near future.
Tough matchup for a team with limited defensive capabilities like the Cowboys. The N.O. offense is still a tough offensive machine for any team to cope with. Romo will need to be at his best to compete effectively with teams with that high level of firepower. Tony has been improving incrementally with each passing game so far this year. Here's hoping he puts forth his best effort thus far this young season. It'll surely be needed when Sunday night comes around.
I feel that even if the Cowboys finish 8-8, they're a better team than they were the past 3 seasons.
Most teams have losing, awful records while rebuilding.
We've been in the playoff hunt while we've been rebuilding. That says something.
Saints D has been far from impressive as well. If that's the case and we control the ball on the ground as we have, I expect this to be a good match up. We need to limit those turnovers though. Romo looked sharp against a solid Rams D.
Yes, ball control, keep Brees off the field, helps the defense rest. Especially if we will be missing players. Turnovers will be key, as I have a feeling 1 turnover may decide this game either way.
I wouldn't mind at all if we come out being very conservative on offense at first, be patient, grind it out.
So that means they just may fling it around. LOL
Bundy Sunday Fun Days never worked out for Al:Sunday fun day is around the bend ...
No one is rebuilding with a top 10 QB and the best pass rusher in football @ the time...that was the best we got. Never seen 8-8 (X3) justified better than this board. Roster turnover is a common trend with teams that lack talent...trying to play catch up from poor drafting/FA decisions. The only positive that I see is a commitment to the run and the investment towards the OL via 1st round selections. We added a great G in the draft, but there was nothing stopping this team from embracing these concepts prior to this season. The same 3 that enabled us to the glorious 8-8 standard we are preparing justification for.I feel that even if the Cowboys finish 8-8, they're a better team than they were the past 3 seasons.

True stuff. The Saints' defense has been down lately but Sean Payton had instructed Rob Ryan to simplify the defense after their last game. We shall soon see if that helps to make a difference. I expect us to do all we can to exercise the same ball control that we have lately. If Murray can do as well behind our OL, we should manage to offer some stiff competition, provided, of course, that Romo is passing equally as effective as well.

I agree I think this year may slide more but next year with a strong draft could be a very strong team. young except for Romo and WittenI feel that even if the Cowboys finish 8-8, they're a better team than they were the past 3 seasons.

And the addition of a much better offensive coordinator, Marinelli taking over the defense, letting go of aging players, adding youth. There are more positives than what you're laying out there. Yet, I understand where you are coming from. This teams biggest fail was not committing to beefing the OL years ago. That needed to be addressed yet, they chose to instead further their draft and FA needs by switching to a 4-3 defense. When you create more holes, you're just prolonging the mediocrity. If we had the OL we have now when we faced Minnesota in the playoffs, we'd not have been made a fool. Instead, Romo was made to look like a birthday Pinata and take the fall for the woes of poor front office decision making.
I don't think it we will win this
the Saints are a improving team
much more than Dallas
