Dallas at Green Bay: Last one with the ball wins?

I'm more concerned about an emotional letdown after last night. That was one hard fought game.

Me too. And having to go to their place on a short week.

My brother-in-law is a rabid Packer fan. If we win, my sis might get a black eye. Decisions decisions ...

*jk about the domestic violence.

They barely beat the sorry arse Vikings and they were actually losing 25-24 to the Lions, if I remember correctly, before Kitna started throwing to the wrong color uniforms.

They actually struggled against a pair of winless doormat teams in their first 2 games, they dont exactly strike fear into me.

Im sorry Im missing it. You guys can have close divisional games and the Packers cant?

I'm not sure how this one will end up. I think that GB will have more offensive success on us because they will run the ball better then philly did. Might open up there offense more i'm not sure. I don't think they will put up as many points but will end up with more rushing yards and more total yards.

Actually GB will have an awful day rushing. Grant will be very limited due to a sore hamstring. His backup, Brandon Jackson is a great recieving back but cant run the ball. His average last year when he started was 2.5. Last week against Detroit he rushed 7 times for 61 yards. Jackson seems to always have a big game against Detroit but struggles whenever else. Also Center Scott Wells may miss the game and force Jason Spitz to play Center and Daryn Colledge to come off the bench and play Guard. Rookie guard standout at camp Josh Sitton may also miss the game with a knee problem forcing Tony Moll, who is also questionable to play or workhorse Alan Barbre who lacks experience. Packers should have little to no running game.

I don't see us having a flat game but its possible. I'm sure they're aware of it but sometimes you lose a little after laying it all out there.

Rodgers is mobile but he's not McNabb. I've been trying to think of a QB who has had his ability and I can't think of one. Young was as fast and I think faster. Elusive but not with his strength. Staubach was different elusive and not the strength. Can you think of anyone. Still Rodgers can hurt you with the run.

We will need to play our best to win. And I do think we will need to attack more. Hopefully Spencer will be more effective.

Thanks for the info. lol need to do some more homework on the subject.

I've watched every Packer game so far, preseason and regular season.

Rodgers is playing very well within the system McCarthy has designed. That's one thing Favre did not do, he free lanced more.

The Packers have a great set of receivers who are fast and deadly after the catch, especially Greg Jennings. If anyone watched the Lion game, the Packers WR's got great separation and were wide open quite a bit, to the point where anyone here could have completed passes to them.

Their offensive line is still strong, but not as strong as last year yet. If Dallas can get pressure on Rodgers, he may start to doubt himself, he is very confident in his play. He has completed 70%+ of his passes and has -0- turnovers. He is playing great ball, but he has had little pressure from opposing defenses. Their running game is average at this time.Rodgers has picked up big yards running himself, we must keep an eye on that.

AJ Hawk likes to blitz and Dallas has to keep an eye on him. They have great LB's in Hawk and Barnett. Al Harris is going to be a flag machine again year. He consistently grabs and holds receivers way past the 5 yard mark. Romo should go his way often, just for the flag factor. Woodson has a toe injury, one toe is broken, so he may be limited yet he did get 2 int's with that injury, while also giving up a scoring play in Detroit.

They are tough, they are confident, but they are also beatable if gameplanned properly by Wade. Rodgers may slice Dallas up if they continue to play zone. Jennings and Driver will be open all day in zone coverage.

Of course he is no McNabb in terms of mobility. Their offense will be harder to stop then you think. They will roll out Rodgers to counter our pass rush to take shots down the field and they will throw slants on us all day. Be prepared for constant 3 step drops. The secondary has to be ready to tackle when they hit them slants. Those receivers are deadly with the YAC.

The Packers dont blitz... The defensive coordinator believes in pressure from the front four and a press on the outside to throw off timing. I highly doubt the Cowboys will see much of a blitz from Green Bay. You may see it about 5% of the snaps. Guarenteed GB tries to cover the recievers and hope to cover long enough for the front 4 to get to Romo.

Not sure why you thought I didn't think it would be hard. This is a top five NFC team and we're in their home. So yes it'll be hard. And I said the -3 spread was right. And I think Rodgers will be harder than Favre but less able to make those wow plays. He won't turn it over as much. I don't think rolling out will help a lot but I'd bet he does as some point.

I think GB may have a better DB team than Philly but its close. I don't think you'll get pressure on us without some serious blitzes. I predict five step drops and all day most times to pick you apart.

I think we'll win going away 38-24. But that's assuming we don't shoot ourselves in the foot.

If they roll Rodgers out, you can bet it'll be away from DWare.

No.

This game won't be a contest in the fourth.

GB will score some but not nearly as much as they will give up.

You are in trouble against any team that can throw.

Cool.

Since you have Short range specialist Eli, we aren't in trouble with the Giants then.

So we should have no problems when we play the giants.

Have a nice day :)

Well, I guess we won't be in any trouble against the Giants then.

I gotta say.... all the judging of Aaron Rodgers based on zero starts last year was laughable.

What he has shown ALREADY as a starter is that HE CAN PLAY. He showed some of that last year.

Underestimate this guy and we will lose. Its that simple.
