It's not the worse but its up there. I didn't see the Boys until 65 becoming a fan in Dec64. None of the defenses since 65 were bad until the first year of Jimmy Johnson which was a revolving door as well. This defense is probably better than the 89 team. That team gave up 42 turnovers and generated 17. I don't have any RZ numbers but the defense and the offense were near the bottom of the league. And yes this team is setting records but generating turnovers as well as creating 7 wins so no its not the worse ever just close.

The win total is meaningless when evaluating the defense. Yards allowed would be a good way to judge it. As would points.

This team is also setting records for how historically awful this defense is.

Not in Philly but in the surrounding area, yes. And I have family there so I spent a lot of time in Philly.

I said the division is at an all time worst. So the fact that they accumulated more than half of their wins in this God awful division makes 7-5 not mean much.

To dumb it down for you, the level of play is so bad that they can be in the playoff picture at this point with the worst defense in team history. I said nothing about league history. That's you, a homer, looking for firmer footing in a debate you already know you'll lose.

I live in Md and drove up to the Vet to watch the Boys game in 1987, those are some hostile fans, was glad to get out alive !!!
