I won't bash you, but I'll bet you $1,000.00 (U.S. Dollars) they don't

I will bet you 1000 Japanese Yen.

What if the Cowboys make the playoffs and every other playoff teams starting QB goes down before Dallas has to play them?

If that happened, I'd start to dream a little....

Risen deals in only absolutes because Chaos Theory does not exist in his world.

The impossible never happens- Colorado could never beat Kansas tonight... oh crud.

The Giants had no chance of winning the SB back in 2007 at 9-7... oh man...

Risen, you are looking more and more like a genius with every statement I make!

Look at Show throwing up the bookies' #'s.

My bookie and I have a very good relationship and he told me "Don't do it."

So I'm telling you, brother- Don't do it.

I love my Boys, but those odds are the way they are for a reason.

I believe they have a chance, but I ain't putting cold, hard cash on it. Maybe if I was Money Mayweather...

and he comes back down to earth...love how you give them a 35-1 chance of winning and there are only 32 teams

FWIW, I wouldn't take your side of my bet either ;)

Do you understand math? do you understand odds? Go to vegas when you are ready and lay down the 35 unless you are broke or just not so sure about it. Anyhow your post made no sense so I hope this helps the ol brain.

Was that the strike game? If so, I was there also.

I was at the Vet 3 times to see the Cowboys. The strike game. The snow ball game. And the game Troy separated his shoulder and Babe came in.

Yep the game during the strike season where Cunningham faked the kneel down at the end of the game then threw to the endzone.
Buddy Ryan at his finest.
I drove up there , took 3 hours and did not even have a ticket.
Bought one off a scalper and sat so high up in the endzone, I could not tell punting plays from regular offensive plays.
At least I got to see Tom Landry, Tony Dorsett, Too Tall Jones, and Randy White play in person.

Oh man, I remember that.

I jumped out of my seat when Randall got up and chucked the ball- murderous thoughts were going through my brain.
I don't care how old Buddy is, I'll punch that evil so and so in his face if I could get the chance.

I'll risk his fat son sitting on me as a consequence. Buddy was the Axis to the Cowboy's Allies.

I saw some show once & Cunningham was talking about that. He said he really did not want to do that but had to. Long before my time but I like hearing all about those teams.

I've never had a problem. Though I always get good seats. I never sat up in the 700 level with the drunk riff raff where all the trouble tends to be.

But I won't argue that Eagles fans aren't classless. They certainly are.

More than 3 hours and no response. I know you've read my posts, you've posted since on this very thread...

No "dumbing down" for me? No snappy comeback? I guess it couldn't be snappy if it takes more than three hours to have a comeback...

OK then- I'll see you on your next "Jerry stinks as a GM" or "we could have Dave Chappelle as a DB and it wouldn't matter" post.

Todos es buen amigo.

I do like the optimism but we just don't have the talent on defense to win it.

As much as I agree with the fact that nowadays, anybody can get hot and win it all if they make the playoffs, I just can't see how this defense can enable us to get on a roll like that.

I don't think I've seen a Cowboy's defense any worse. Just my opinion.

Lol, yes I do and having spent an absurd amount of time in Vegas gambling and playing poker, I'm well aware of how Vegas works. Vegas is trying to entice people to bet on the Cowboys by offering greater than the actual mathematical odds based on the number of teams alone. Vegas isn't generous to bettors so if they're offering 35-1 odds, they're saying the Cowboys have virtually no shot at winning the Super Bowl, which is why I was happy to bet $1,000 straight up.

I don't begrudge or belittle your belief that they'll win the Super Bowl, hell, I'd love to have to pay you a $1,000 dollars, I just don't believe they're a good enough team to win it all for a variety of reasons so rather than debating it, I figured it would be easier to just put a bet on it since you sounded pretty confident. Given the odds you require, I now know you agree with me that you believe the Cowboys are a long shot to win it all. No harm in that, they're a team chock full of injuries and Garrett is still trying to build a full 53 man roster. Hopefully their time will come again, I just don't believe it's going to be this year.

Can't disagree with you.... Which Cowboys team shows up, though. the one that plays good D and horrible Offense or Vice Versa. The one that takes advantage or the one who is outcoached in all phases?

Sure, the Cowboys could win the Super Bowl, but so could any of 11 other teams.

2013. More than ever before is a year of matchups and game planning. This is a year of the very worst team capable of beating the very best. Preparation for each game and having team health is critical. Dallas can score. Dallas can hold opponents to few scores. This is a week to week league more than ever. I believe in this team and will not be surprised if the Cowboys win it all. Bring your bashing comments to me my friends. I expect some of each good and bad.

We have no chance to beat Seattle......................best we can hope for is a trip to the NFC Championship game where Seattle will crush us like ants.
