Some of you guys need a lesson or two on comprehension. The point is that the scouting department has done its job, with regards to the abilities of the players brought in and the investment made to obtain them. If you want to criticize the front office for being "cheap" on defense, that's one thing. It's not the scouts' fault, though.

Wait, you know what cowboys scouts are telling the FO?

You must be a part of the Cowboys FO

what other inside info do you have?

Not sure why it's so hard to see Moore is coming back for his experience. Let's be honest, not many coaches are going to trust a free agent rookie QB as his primary backup. I agree 100% Rush is probably a better QB....but he needs experience.

Looks like it for now. We need another DT.

i imagine once they find out about zeke's situation they either waive a player....most likely rod smith or use the spot for moore if he is suspended

I don't think we'll be lamenting with Neal losing a great player if some team chooses to claim him. I do think it's possible that we will lose a player who can be a solid contributor. But that's if teams don't pass on him because of his size, which would allow us to put him on the PS.

The great thing about M.Collins is that he has legit DT size at 310 pounds. Even T.Crawford at about 285-290 was undersized.

Maybe Neal can hit the weight room and add some bulk and strength.

they are way too thin to stay put on the defensive line, there has to be a move of some kind coming.

Crawford can play tackle obviously but who knows his situation.

Right now Crawford is still hurt and Mayowa has a knee that keeps swelling.

I just can't imagine they dont add a player before this weeks game or right after if they dont want to guarantee a veteran. I would think we need more defensive lineman than linebackers to play the giants. I really dont want to hear wilber can play defensive end from this organization either.

Kellen Moore - QB - Free Agent
Cowboys released QB Kellen Moore.

Moore entered camp as Dak Prescott's backup, but he was outplayed by Cooper Rush this preseason. Dallas could roll with Rush or look to add a veteran. Brandon Weeden, who spent time with the Cowboys in 2014 and 2015, was just cut by the Texans. Dallas also could bring back Moore.

I was really hoping Skipper was going to do something but there's a reason he was undrafted.

It's going to be tough to pick about 7 to 8 from this group for our PS (assuming we claim a few from other teams' cuts).

I like this roster. Maybe another LB for depth but we will see. Might have to churn Nzeocha.

Your statement never had any basis in reality. I've gave you facts to back up my opinion. You should try it.

No you gave me some cherry picked irrelevant stat to say the defense was successful last year. I measure success by results which they didn't have. Like I said, we have different ideas about what success is.

Points per game is not a cherry picked stat. Points per drive is better but its still a good stat.

BTW, what "antiquated defense" do you think we ran the last couple years? You don't think we run the Tampa 2 do you?

Points per game is an irrelevant stat? LOL Ok, the entire objective is to score more points than the other team. You're playing yourself.
