No doubt. He might be the best kicker in the league. At least that's one thing we have.

Good showing on offense by:

Guyton (didn't give up much pressure, knocking defenders down in the run game)

Beebe (same for him as starting center)

Lance (after a shaky start, settled into his throws instead of overthrowing, showed his legs and his awareness on that last run)

Flournoy (had a drop on a tough catch but bounced back and got the TD)

Vaughn (was making defenders miss to get extra yards)

Freeman (hard charges with power to push the pile forward)

Aubrey (got to count him when he nails a 66-yard FG)

Hes just not comfortable imo.

All the tools are there but he isn’t comfortable playing football.

I think there is upside with more reps.
If he remains inaccurate he is as good for us as Quincy was. It's clear he isn't ready to start unless we tank the season. Not sure that will ever happen as long as Jethro still draws breath. I'm all for him developing just needed to see a little more than last week. At least that's my thinking

my 1st Half observations.

- Guyton is legit. So strong, looks like he's barely working
- Beebe could be good. Looked more comfortable today.
- RBs looked good; good blocking helps a lot.
- Schoonmaker meh again.
- Not a single backup WR stands out
- Phillips as depth is a good thing
- Liufau has burst and good instincts.
- Booth could offer good depth; Still want Gilmore maybe though
- 2ndary looks aggressive but disciplined.
- Punt coverage & punt protection needs work
- Aubrey is set. Sit him down and rest him until Week 1

Flournoy will make the team.

offensive and defensive line played much better, very encouraging.
Kneeland played well. Was where he was supposed to be against the run and got a little pressure.

Phillips and Huggins showed why they've gotten some starting snaps with other teams. Same with Muhammad.

O line and run game dominated the 1st half. I'd like to see Flournoy and the receivers get some passes downfield this 2nd half.
