Some of you don't understand that it's wise not to show tendencies in a preseason game.

Our tendencies are.....we call stupid plays....in the worst times. Nothing has changed. It's a McCarthy staple to do dumb things....when the simple call is all that's needed. Just shows a complete lack if confidence in the offensive line running the ball for 2 yards. That was a problem last year.....and a perfect time to show we are improving there. But nope...

After that last call, I should be turning the TV off....its bad enough calling a fade, but to do it with an UNPROVEN QB.....BRAINDEAD!!!!!!

Preaseason is where Lance gets the chance to become proven. Jeez.

Because it’s preseason and you want to see what your potential backup QB has. Scoring a TD there by running your back into the A gap behind backups and camp fodder on the OL is not a valuable piece of information.

But you know this, so I’m not sure why you of all people is being intentionally inflammatory.

If you get a first, you get three more attempts though.

A simple QB sneak or short yardage dive and you got a 1st and 3 more downs to see what your young QB can do.
