What more do I need? Prescott hasn't been extended, therefore there's no guarantee he will be. You've followed this team long enough to know that Jerry Jones often says one thing and does another. But you choose to ignore that fact because this latest comment gives you something else to attack him about. Whether anything has actually happened or not.

If we were only here to report the news why would we need a forum to discuss our opinions?

Do I really have to put IMO before each sentence or can we assume that I’m going to present my opinions that I strongly believe in as the truth.

We see this type of rhetoric in preaching societal issues why isn’t it applicable in discussing sports ?

Because sometimes, people actually mix in facts and things that are true when they post. While others make stuff up and try to pass it off as true.

the speaker, in this case jerry, implied. you inferred, imo incorrectly, that dak's extension is a foregone conclusion. I do not believe it is. that decision will be based on his performance the remainder of the year.

Most everyone read between the lines why Bill left here early. And going to Miami to be VP is not how I’d define retiring.

What we all saw was when Dak had Romo and Sanchez in his corner he was a pretty serviceable QB with much to learn but significant upside . Garrett has never been anything more than below average from start to finish as a head coach but like you have preached he made Jerry happy and comfortable .

Jerrys weekly comfort is now being compromised by embarrassment on national TV and negative media coverage including his previous HOF QB .

I think a top notch coaching staff that just cares about winning and dosent give a rats butt about Jerrys ego and feelings will up lift this whole team not just Dak Heck Garrett has turned them into such a bunch of kitty kats they wouldn't even defend the star

I think a lot of people are saying this same thing. The team can give Prescott an opportunity to show that he might have something with a competent coaching staff. But that means evaluation, not extension.

I'm good with that if they bring someone in to compete for the starting position. Fitzpatrick? Bridgewater? Nick Mullen? Josh McCown?

Agreed Jerrys meddling can influence a lot of things but not the game day coaching IMO . Garretts Gameday coaching has been traditionally bad . There just isn't an amount of talent that can be acquired to overcome him and most of the talent we do get seems to regress under his culture .

Geez how many times have we tried to rebuild the secondary only to have them suck leave and go start some where else . Heck I think Newman and Pacman were still playing as of last year
