That's weak.

Any functional organization reprimands their employees in private....not out in front of other people.

So Jerry says he's invested in Dak when asked on camera, but Dallas website rips him?

That just means management is too dysfunctional and cowardly to sit him down like a grown man in private....they have to do it through anonymous tweets.

So lame...even if what they said was correct
Management and ownership have zero to do with that tweet…it’s someone so far removed who handles the social media account who likely will get fired

The account tweeted an article, which is telling the truth about how Dak's poor play cost the Cowboys to lose.

You can call me every name in the book, you can burn every jersey you purchased under my name, you can whatever you want. If Jerry wants to give me 160 million dollars, I can live with the meaningless jokes and roasts. Because that contract puts me in the 1% category.

For 42 million you can say I'm bad at my job.
Not me and I'm not taking 42 million a year knowing it's hurting an entire organization and the fans. I'm reworking my deal. I'll take 10 million a year, which is plenty and I'll help the next guy because I'm not the guy you're looking for. But of course he's not going to do that.

Honestly, despite the fact that this is obviously correct, this is an idiotic way of going about things and torpedoing your future, even if you want to move on from Dak.

Oh I highly doubt that. I'm 99% sure that came from the top. They were given the green light. In the past his contract was absolutely not up for discussion among Cowboys media staff. Now they are ripping him.

Dumpster fire organization. You don't throw your QB under the bus publicly. What's the purpose? Wreck his confidence even more? If you plan on trading him, you've just lowered his trade value just like we did with Amari. This is a perfect example of why we never win and getting rid of Dak won't fix anything

which one was brutally honest? that is literally all i can listen to right now.
Damn, I tend to listen while working, so I might mixed them up, they have so many now...

I think I listened to "Hanging with the boys" and "The players lounge" and other I don't remember the name.

Nate and that other guy Patric C Walker were most openly blaming Dak and also Stanback but he kind of backpedaled at the end praising the Joneses and the Coaches for a good season.

It's a report about what happened in the game. Not a shot. What would the reaction be if they said "Despite a strong and gutsy performance by Dak the Cowboys fell short"?

Everyone would be laughing at the denial and delusion. It works both ways.
It's a report that singles out a single player who happens to be the face of your franchise. There's zero to be gained from doing something idiotic like this, but then again this is the Cowboys

Fellow players and player union( drawing a blank on what it's called) would crucify him for that. That would only hurt his peers.

Nobody...would ...do ...that.

And you wouldn't either.

You could set all of your grandchildren and great grandchildren up for life. Your own blood. OR, u could take that money away from your own grandchildren and their children, and give it back to a company that makes billions and billions?

Stop. You would just work harder to be the best u could be.

Well you'll be regretting that you've just thrown away over $100 million for an organization that just pocketed the savings. We literally had Dak on a super cheap 4th round rookie deal for several years and we were still dumpster shopping. Maybe you take a discount at an actual winning organization, but for the Cowboys you better get all the money you can

Love it. I bet Dak wishes he hadn't signed that contract. I can't imagine stealing 42 million a year from a company that doesn't want me there anymore, from the top on down. That's why you take a deal that's good for you and the organization. Is less pressure on you and better for everyone else. But I don't expect him to understand that. He's so dumb he thinks he can fix everything in the press conference by telling everyone what they want to hear. And I don't think he realizes nobody wants to hear it anymore. Just a stupid, stupid person.
You terminology is a stretch. If your employer offered you $42 million you would take it too. He didn’t steal it. And yes, Dak played poorly last night.

A shot at Dak or a simple statement of fact?

I don't know why so much gets read into comments like this. Dak had two turnovers, Dallas had too many penalties, and the Cowboys lost by seven. We all saw it. The Cowboys reported it.

SHOTS FIRED AT DAK!!
You are kidding right? I have never seen a team post anything like this before. Usually shots are taken in the media via friendly media sources fed stories by the front office. Oh and Dak was worse than having two turn overs. Could have easily four. Generally a putrid performance.

It's for the other players who bust their *****, such as Micah parsons. I'm not going to get in the way any longer if I'm dak.

He's absolutely stolen every penny. And he pretty much held a gun to their head so it's not like they just threw a bag of money in his lap.
