3 sacks, a forced fumble and a big int to seal the deal. Defense looked damn good. I went in not knowing what to expect from this group but they went out there and played one hell of a game. Very proud of these guys today. felt the DL kept the pressure on Eli and secondary did a great job of closing.

Kudos to you for coming up with a very appropriate nickname for Scandrick.

LOL...was on my iPad, and for some reason it keeps spelling his name that way on auto correct...LOL...
I usually catch it, to correct it. But it was late, tired, eyes were hurting....

But honestly, do u see Taco getting rave reviews in practice and training camp? TJ has been a disruptive force throughout practices and camps and he carried it into his first regular season game. Taco doesn't have the explosiveness of a good DE.

one game and a few preseason snaps...you probably had your mind set on this since the draft...get over it, and wait to see what develops.

I think Eli is a shell of what he used to be. He looks more like a chuck and duck QB now. A crappy offensive line will do that to you and they are pretty crappy.

D Line should only get better as they move forward as well as getting Irving back in the lineup.

The Giants offense is poor with Odell and brutal without him. They have nobody who can stretch the field; Marshall looks done. They made playing defense pretty easy for the Cowboys tonight. That said, the Cowboys took the opportunity and made the most of it.
It's all about building confidence and momentum. Defense did both today.... yesterday whatever lol

We played a team with a trash offense. Its good the d showed up but let's wait until we play a real offense week 5.

Aw, come on. They have a Hall of Fame quarterback and you heard what everybody said. Brandon Marshall is going to make a huge difference in this offense, give Eli the big red zone target he's never had. Shepard is the best slot receiver in the league and that rookie tight end is going to be unstoppable. They have two new blocking tight ends as well who are going to vastly improve their running game. And with the way Eli gets rid of the ball so fast their still crappy offensive line just isn't going to be a problem.

To be fair, their play calling was atrocious.

Should have been 4 sacks. Mayowa should have been credited for one when his contact caused Eli to go down. Refs blew the call and allowed Eli to throw a pass when on the ground. Would rather have the sack than the holding call the giants got on that play.

No way he gets into the HOF with a career completion % of 59.8, qbr of 83.7, if Romo can't get in with the numbers he has.

Most all experts said Giants have a top 5 offense......i get it though Dak had the same words spoke about him and the same folks had to eat crow

:lmao2::lmao:  These experts need to have their heads examined. They sucked last year on Offence and they didn't improve this year signing a washed up Marshall. Top 5 Lol!!!

Did Price and j. Elliott play at all?

Price played a little. He had a strong rush straight up the middle on one play but Eli (as usual) got the ball out quickly. I don't know about J. Elliot.

Still don't know how some so called NFL media picked the Giants to win the NFC East over us. So 1 freakin player like ODB is gonna trump us when we get DIrving/Moore/Scandrick/Lewis back (our d will only get better as the young guys get game reps) over their savior ODB? As long as they have that OL, and Eli is still Eli, and no run game. I don't care how good ODB is.

Refs actually robbed our defense of a turnover when they said they they blew the play dead just as Jaylon Smith forced a fumble and Sean Lee recovered it.

The forced fumble actually shows up in Smith's stats, but we didn't get the ball.

Denver doesn't have a great offense but I am curious to see this defense take it's show on the road. Hopefully Lewis will practice this week and Awuzie is fine as we will need them to step in for Scandrick.
