Dallas D more dominant than it seemed

Giants might have the worst offense in the league without OBJ.

We played a team with a trash offense. Its good the d showed up but let's wait until we play a real offense week 5.

Pretty much. I thought this was going to have some unnoticed metrics or something. They played well against an avg unit without their lone playmaker. I enjoyed it but it was exactly as it seemed

The Giants offense looked inept last night. Let's not forget, however, that they were 11-5 year with basically the same OL. They added Marshall and Engram to an already good receiving Corp.

This win was more about the Dallas D rather than the NYGs O.

LOL at waiting until Week 5. So we can only judge our D when you think we need to play a good offense. So since Baltimore shut out Cincy and Cincy's offense isn't that good they have to wait until they play a good offense to be considered legit? That's not how it works. These are NFL teams so any time you hold a time with a TD and 3 points it's legit. We have a good D.

And they still have a terrible OL, no run game, and Eli at qb.

Yes, and I was referring to the better offenses (as you said real offense in week 5) we will face later on when we get more healthy on d.

True Moore and Irving should only help. Plus jaylon and others will get more expierence.

You're right and I am not disputing any of that. I am simply acknowledging the unexpectedly good play of the Dallas defense.

Down the stretch last year, the NYG averaged about 18 ppt. I fully expected them to score a lot more than 3 points last night. They didn't and it is a tribute to the defense.

We have the speed at cb now to cover Odell and their recievers. No more relying on Carr and a gimpy Mo to stay with Odell..

one game and a few preseason snaps...you probably had your mind set on this since the draft...get over it, and wait to see what develops.

I will remind you at the mid-point of the season.

Did
Yes the Giants offense sucked but how awesome was it to see Lawrence just getting after it. Tapper got a sack. Sean Lee was everywhere and Jaylon Smith, What an amazing performance by starting and playing the whole game. I know it's one game against a terrible offense that was without it's best player but you have to be a little excited going forward.
Did
Jaylon Smith play the whole game? Go Cowboys

But honestly, do u see Taco getting rave reviews in practice and training camp? TJ has been a disruptive force throughout practices and camps and he carried it into his first regular season game. Taco doesn't have the explosiveness of a good DE.
