Marten sounds like he put in some effort. With Finance and marketing he can be a real estate agent.

Ethinic Studies???? What the heck is that? Is it learning the difference
between Korean and Chinese? He can be a tour guide at Disney World.

Free took metal shop for four years

Folk is salesman.

Brown can take out his surverying equipment and make sure the field is exactly 100 yards.

These guys aren't freaking rocket scientists!

So Mr. Big Brain what did you receive your degree in?

These kids deserve kudos for achieving their first monumental step not ridicule.

Why not major in political science? I am sorry, but I see this one along the lines of women's studies. No offense WG's. I don't mean to demean women. Your still a hot chick! :D

If I'm not mistaken, he can go into major construction. somewhere on the engineering side.

Industrial Arts was what it was called when I went to school. It was a trade school thing to become a machinist or a weilder.

Lot of money in advertising and marketing. Maybe pull of one of those multi-million dollar super bowl commercials .

Dude was a kicker! I juist don't see him going into commercials.

And make sure bridges like the one in San Fran don't collapse..

There is a difference between civil engineering and engineering. I have known a lot of civil engineers. They are the ones that look through the objective while the guy that majored in Industrial Arts holds the pole down the road. The Civil Engineer leads the crew of three. The third guy majored in marketing holds the Stop/Slow sign for the traffic.

And BTW, all San Francisco bridges are alledgedly designed to not collapse.

But they're not one step above the fry machine at McDonald's either.

I will give you that. At least they got degrees

I can tell by the 5-6 question marks at the end of sentences that he's clearly a mover and a shaker in the academic world.

Do you not believe that temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy of particlez, so by heating the nuclei they will gain energy and eventually have enough to overcome this 0.01 MeV ???????????? LOL !!!!!!

Criminal justice. It was that or Industrial Arts

I also majored in accounting...

Did the office job and decided I would throw myself out a window if I continued doing it.

I needed to do something else, more social and relaxing and something that related to what I really want to do.

I'm just gonna go with my thought that you're just having a bit of fun and not even bother...

I don't think anyone is going to suggest these guys are going to win Nobel Peace Prizes, but you should know that finishing a degree is an accomplishment. So I applaud them.

I also applaud Jerry and co. for continuing to find guys who are serious about their studies.

True, I love it though. my wife and I made a decision two years ago and it has been great.

I am going to suffer when I re-enter the working world, but that is ok. My son at some point in his life is going to realize that his mom and dad made some sacrifices for him and future brother or sister, and that is all I need to know! Cant replace time and that is what is important to us.

Plus on top of everything, I want to work in television producition, or in a production house in general as an editor, so my finance degree will really help me there!!!!

This is clearly a lie. The men you describe are surveyors, and likely have no college background outside of a trig course. The ones that are certified and have degrees are back in the office.

William Hung was studying to be a civil engineer. Represent.

Your local planning department is full of Civil Engineers. That is not Engineering. My daughter was an Engineering major before changing to pre-law. It was very intense. Despite an 144 IQ and a 1560 on her SAT's she switched. She is now entering Law school and put her soul up for sale.

Sorry Peplaw

I like you too, but belittling or trying to read too much into people's degrees is not right.

I work in software development and some of the best software developers I know have liberal arts degrees. They just chose to major in something that interested them in college rather than chase the money and the hot degree. Meanwhile, the worst people I've ever had to work with are the new computer science graduates who think that now that they have diploma in hand the hard work is over. They also seem to have this sense of entitlement that anyone who works in the field should make $80k a year because they read it in some article in Forbes.

I was an accounting major, got into my second year taking generally accepted accounting principles 2, Went home and said I absolutely hate this and changed to finance with the intention of being a personal financial planner, then by the time I graduated that job had basically been mixed in with insurance salesman and retail banking....no thanks.

So yea I want to make a living at some point in tv production as an editor. I have a friend here who at some point I hope will serve as a mentor, one of the brightest hard working people i have ever met.

There are likely planning reviewer who received degrees in civil engineering, and would rather review other people's work than produce themselves, but they are hardly full.

And civil engineers are still not surveyors.

You can belittle it all you want (It's certainly no "criminal studies") but the math and studies necessary to become qualified to design the roads, waterways and utility systems of the nation is no joke. If one of our players received that schooling, he had to apply himself.
