Not even arguing whether Dak is worth his contract or not, but giving a big contract to a QB does not stop a well run organization from allocating $ to weapons. The $ is 100% there, Jerry and Stephen just chose the wrong guys to spend it on. Zeke, Gallup and Schultz combined for a $30 million cap hit and none of them are actual difference makers. That $ could/should have been allocated MUCH differently in a way that could have actually helped the team

For our particular team and what I think a scrambling QB could provide I would take Kyler over Dak.

I can’t imagine how bad AZ would be with Dak as their QB. Dallas potentially would improve.

He’s only led the Cardinals to the playoffs once and played one of the worst playoff games I’ve ever seen a QB play last season. His passer rating against the Rams was 40.9. It was like a comedy farce, watching him running around making mistake after mistake after hilarious mistake. He has no leadership skills and when his name is mentioned here everyone scoffs at the thought of having him as our QB except for you. You really need to stay away from QB discussions because you have absolutely no clue about the position.

We’ve had two rookie QBs beat our defense this season and this was a better defense than we had last year. The Cardinals haven’t won crap with Kyler Murray. Go look at the highlights of him against the Rams in the playoffs last season.

Yea, I mean that game was a team meltdown. OL was banged up and got whooped which caused all kinds of issues on offense but no one played well…shoot Tyron gave up 7 pressures which is about what he gave up all year. Dak played much more poorly this year and gets no pass from me.

Also - can we acknowledge SF is really freaking good? They choked out LA, AZ twice, Mia, TB and SEA down the stretch. Aka made a lot of other QBs look really bad. These are teams with even better WR weapons than us.

We beat the Rams by two scores despite Rush passing for only 102 yards because of our defense and running game. Our passing game was dead with him. CeeDee wasn’t producing with him.

We weren’t going to win many more games with Rush. Once Philly exposed him, it was time to put Dak back in the lineup. We weren’t generating enough offense and points with him. We only had maybe one game where we scored more than one TD with him. Once our defense and pass rush fell off, we would’ve stopped winning games with him. He benefited by having outstanding defensive play during his four wins. Our defense wasn’t nearly as good the second half of the season.
