I wonder if they used any design techniques in the new stadium to reflect sound and create a more echoic atmosphere. I mean why not

We will see how smart Jerry is and how much he cares.

Hmm I believe Dallas has some of the worst home fans no offense, I was appalled by so many Patriots fans with tickets!

To be fair, I didn't hear the Patriot fans all that much in this game.

I honestly think it depends on where you sit.

I went to the Rams game, and I thought the crowd was fairly loud. But I sat in the nosebleeds.

My voice was gone after the game. Most of the people around me were yelling and screaming too.

I really thought we were loud.

But when I looked online the next day, all I read was how dead the stadium sounded.

I guess TS is an acousical marvel.

Yeah, that brings up not only where you sit, but where the mics are. You could sit it in front of a bunch of nutty fans, and only show camera angles of nutty fans, and make it look like the stadium is nuts.

Guess this is why I wonder about our stadium in real life (not TV) in comparison to other stadiums. The only way you can know this truly is to be on the field in different stadiums.

That crowd has no heart. It's no wonder we've been so good on the road, there is nearly no difference between being on the road and being at home.

what are you talking about?

Where were you sitting? The crowd was good tonight, right up until phillips deflated the whole crowd by kicking the field goal.

This incessant whining about the crowd is out of control.

the crowd was good today, we ran into one of the greatest teams to ever be assembled, sometimes you lose.

Past that even, do any of you have any understanding of acoustics, or are you merely judging from what you see and hear on television?

I have to agree. You don't have to hear anything to know the crowd sucks. The camera would pan the crowd and there were so many people just sitting on their hands or chugging a beer. That's what happens when tickets are bought up by scalpers and re-sold for 5x the value to rich yuppies who don't know a damn thing about football and are just there to catch a show. It's disgraceful.

I can't wait until we get into the new stadium. It's long overdue and Texas Stadium is falling apart. A 5X Super Bowl champion team and one of the NFL's premiere franchises shouldn't play in such a dive. I have many great memories that happened in that stadium, but it's time to move on.

I think its comical that people sitting at home have such a loud opinion.

Try going to a game every now and then. Then you can say something.

The crowd was very good today, especially given how ridiculous brady is.

I am so tired of all these out of towners passing judgement. Go root for whatever team is in the city you live in then. If it bothers you that much.

Exactly.

If you don't regulary attend games at Texas Stadium, you can't really know.

There's all sorts of factors to consider--stadium acoustics, positioning of network broadcasting equipment, etc.

Why do I have to buy you a ticket? I am lost with this....what does that have to do with crowd noise?

You know all this could be avoided.

The Cowboys are undefeated when I watch them.

If all the "Zoners" would quit being so selfish and buy me season tickets, then the Cowboys would never lose another home game again. Plus, the crowd noise would automatically go up.

Some people are so dagnabbed selfish.

I was in section 115 and was shocked that I was surrounded by so many pats fans. My crew took up about 14 seats in one row and we screamed until we were hoarse, but the patriot fans made more noise.
