listen, its simply a fact. Texas Stadium has the weakest crowd in the league. Dont get your feelings hurt, do something about it. All this loot you game goers profess to have, spend some of it on voice training or maybe a megaphone, an air horn maybe. Do anything besides sit there like a lump on a log like me and hundreds of thousands of no Texas, Cowboys fans witness every home game!

One of the truly worst posts I have seen on this message board.

Somehow relating money to fan emotion and then saying those of us who go to every game are bad fans, and then leaping to the conclusion that we dont make noise.

Truly sorry post.

I go to a couple games every year and it's always louder in person than it comes across than on TV.

I think the loudest game I attended was the Denver game a couple years ago. Unreal how loud it was. Totally enjoyed myself even they lost.

I will say this, even if the crowd was really loud initially, I'm sure after the Pats kept driving on the 'boys, series after series, it would suck the life out of any fan.

That 05 Denver crowd was good.

Today was twice as loud. It was even louder today than the colts game last year.

But what do I know, I dont have a surround setup in virginia, where apparently all the good and real fans live.

Another uniformed opinion. This is your problem. You proceed as if uniformed opinions rooted in highly specious obersvations are factual. They are not.

I'm a native of Austin. I've never lived in Dallas but do visit on occasion.

In fact, we Austinites are taught to regard Dallasites with scorn because of their alledged crass materialism.:D

I've only been to one game at Texas Stadium when the crowd was quite loud. Obviously, one game is not a sufficient sample size to draw any conclusions about crowd noise so, unlike you, I avoid making any.

However, I can say that the noise you hear as you sit comfortably on your couch cannot be used to accurately judge the crowd noise level at Texas Stadium.

how exactly is my opinion uninformed when i watch the games ever week? Im not the only person who has noted that the home crowd is a total and utter joke and embarassment.

how come every other game on tv sounds like the crowd is going nuts and texas stadium sounds like a polo match?

A truly sorry post was you chastizing every out of town Cowboys fan and urging us to find another team to root for because we called you out for being a lame crowd.

and the guy who said that the tix were going for $500 a pop and were reserved for the cocain and boobjob crowd was right on the freakin money!!

We've been through this. Your opinion is uninformed because your perspective is simply too limited.

You cannot gauge crowd noise through your television set unless you have some understanding of stadium acoustics and the positioning of network audio equipment.

so because i didnt major in accoustical engineering it somehow makes it seem that the games at TS are more quiet then every other stadium in the league? Man it all makes sense now! It must be the flux capacitor on my tv set. Thanks so much for pointing that out to me!!

I paid $54 for my ticket.

and I am not chastizing anyone, I am simply defending the many in texas stadium who were very good today.

Every day there is a new texas stadium sucks thread, and they are always started from an out of towner with a piss poor attitude.

Calling it the worst crowd in the league is pretty ridiculous.

and your insistence on including money in with this makes no sense. And by the way you can thank many fans even some on this board for scalping their tickets.

Texas Stadium has never been known as the loudest stadium, but it can get damn loud. I've probably been to around 30 games at Texas stadium over the years. Some are better than others.... after a team converts 90% of there thrid downs on you for 3 quarters and your down by 2 touchdowns it gets hard to keep it going.

You can't comment on crowds sitting in your living room as factual, you can throw your opinion out there but don't tell me it's a fact.

I can honestly say never I've never tried cocaine, had a boob job, nor have I ever paid $500 for a ticket.

But I do know that I've gone to quite a few games where it's loud and folks are going insane, only to come back here and see posts that the crowd sucks. Boggles the mind.

Oh well, I no longer worry about it. Perception vs reality. I go, I yell, and have a good time. Not going to sweat what people think they know, but don't.

Did I say that?

Really?

Reading comprehension is fundamental.

Before we delve into the degree issue, why don't you first demonstrate some basic competency on the issue? Your opinion might carry more merit then.

It makes about as much sense as you telling everyone their eyes and ears are lying to them and that whatever they believe is wrong because you're right.

I understand that, but trust me I go to every game. Their have been some bad crowds, I am worried the minnesota crowd will be average.

Today's crowd however was not average and not bad.

again, what section did you sit in today?

We get it. We get it. You were AT the game, so your opinion is clearly the only one that matters.

ok here are my credentials for justifying my basic competency on this subject:

I have 2 ears
I have a tv that is equipped with 2 fully functional speakers
One remote control
Two eyes.

This debate really is silly. i wouldnt have said anything on the subject if Theebs hadnt mouthed off about out of metroplex Cowboy fans.

Its my opinion (that is shared by many) that the crowd at TS is weak and frankly its embarassing to me as a fan.

That's your competency.

So because you have two ears and own a television set, you immediately have an understanding of accoustics and the positioning of network broadcasting equipment.

Who knew that somone could gain such vast knowledge with so little effort?

Silly us, and here we were assuming that the tv crews weren't going out of their way to make our crowd seem so docile compares with other stadiums. Someone really should call the commish and tell him about this.
