It was reporter pre draft they viewed Beebe as a center and he has been working with Duke Mayweather at it.

If Duke says you’re legit, you are in fact legit.
I believe they want to try him at center for this year, yes. But I also believe they want to start him at G for the long-term.

Every year is a rebuild.
Only if you don’t know the definition.

Teams like KC and SF aren’t rebuilding. They are adding to what they have or filling a couple of holes created by FA.

Have the Cowboys been destroyed? Did Rice damage the Chiefs?

You said every year is a rebuild. Are they destroyed every year?
Then it looks like the Cowboys will never rebuild because it doesn't look like destruction is coming because they pretty much rebuilt their oline.

I don’t think it’s a rebuild because Jerry and sons wouldn’t know how to do it.

We will have holes and lose players and then just try and fill those holes with draft picks and street FA’s who’ve been cut.
Some of the picks are fine, but not enough of them.

We aren’t building anything.

No he doesn't! The 9ers were a great fit for Lance and he couldn't even stay healthy enough OR have the skills to be the 2nd OR 3rd string QB. The kid came out of college way too early with football skills that don't mean diddly squat in the NFL. JJ could have used that 4th rd pick he wasted on Lance to pick a decent RB that is desperately needed going into the 2024 season.
He needed to play asap for that team. He played a season at ND St. While I don’t know if he can play yet, he needs seasoning still. And let’s not act like Shanny is some QB whisperer….he’s an offensive dynamo but not with QB’s.

its a rebuild. Its a soft rebuild. Not like Washington. This year its on the defensive side, Next couple years, it will be on offense.
How so? Guys are getting replaced who are simply at the end of their career. The QB is probably gonna be extended long term. The are fooling around with the run game. Ferguson is already here.

So where do you guys see a rebuild here? There are no "soft rebuilds". That's just replacing certain players like you always have to do.

Rebuilding means different guys in key positions (don't even have to be rookies), different coaches, different strategy. Oh, and in any case different QB as the most important part of a rebuild in football.

2025 might be seeing a true rebuild but right now it's just business as usual. And no, I don't believe JJ and SJ are following a grant master plan for 2027 or so. This is just them trying to cope with the results of many bad decisions in the past (or repeating them).

Yes it was a good draft, but there is no rebuild sign whatsoever on the door anywhere.

It is either forged in fire here and now or start the promoting.

This is not a rebuild. Washington was a rebuild, New England was a rebuild.

This is rid yourself of bad contracts and focus on future cap. The only position in question in the future is QB.
Semantics.. If it's not a rebuild its a transition.

This is for sure a rebuild. We couldn't do much last year and we got worst this year. At this point we should aim for a good draft and then see what we can do in FA next year + draft class then we may have a shot.

Oline rebuild for sure. If we were rebuilding we could just trade Lamb and/or Parsons and get more picks.

It's not a rebuild if it's not being torn down 1st. Even the OL is a retooling with 3 of 5 starters returning this year.
