Whatever you want to say, if we hadn't blown games to the 5-8 Jaguars and losing record Packers we'd be the #1 seed, as it stands now we have to go on the road where we haven't won a road playoff game in 30 years. Wake me up when we make the NFC Championship which we haven't in 26 years.
You say “we”. I wonder who thinks you’re a Cowboys fan.

Dallas just beat the Eagles team that is the best team in football. Dallas handled the run, created turnovers and the DBs kept making plays. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve. This Dallas team has fought through injuries and are tuning themselves up for the Superbowl. Watching Peters line up as TE and maul two defenders was incredible, I want to see more of this.

Outside of the pick, Dak was on fire. As TY gets in football shape I think he will be a problem for Coordinators. Lamb is smooth on his routes and his growth over the last three weeks is very noticeable. Zeke and TP are grinding dirt yards, and what impressed me was the team stuck with running which kept the play action working.

This game was a cross between a chess match and a wild west shootout.

Keep throwing at Bland and teams will learn today, he will make a believer out of the QB.

Enjoy the win, Merry Christmas Y'all,
Go Dallas!!!
Dallas has already beaten the 1 and 2 teams in the NFC and scored 40 points on both of them. They also beat the Bengals who have a chance at the 1 spot in the AFC. The Cowboys are 11 and 4 and are one of the best teams in the league.

Wake you up? How about we let you sleep and cover you with dirt. The Cowboys are 11 and 4 and are one of the best teams in the league. They are very likely winning the first playoff game and are good enough to beat any team in the league.

If we are playing this game, Eagles eeked out a win against Cooper Rush, while he gave them 3 turnovers and short fields for much of their points. What is the difference? Hurts played that game.

Dak usually has his way with the Eagles defense. Hurts hasn't proven anything in this league yet. The year he is having right now, Dak had his very first year.

Philly won by two scores when we played them earlier in the season so I wouldn’t exactly call that eeking out a win. They had us down by 20 in that game. Granted, we made a comeback, but they shoved the ball down our throat on an 11 play drive to score and we couldn’t stop them. Hurts didn’t need to have his best game of the season to beat the Cowboys. There is a difference between that game and what happened today. The Cowboys got down by 10 points and were having to battle from behind most of the game. Dak needed his best stuff to pull off the win against Gardner Minshew. Philly was within striking distance until we stopped them in the end. I pointed out in the other post what needed to happen for us to win today. The important thing is the Cowboys got the win but the defense is going to have to get much better. We need to get players back.

Defense is in total disarray. If Quinn can put it back together...even close to where it was a month or two ago, this team can do some damage. But having to score 40 pts. every week to pull out a game ain't gonna cut it. We all know that.

When beating the Eagles becomes our superbowl. But for reals, Dak is playing well somehow morphing into a good pocket QB - whereas before, going back to 2016 his game was predicated on passing while rolling out and on the run and his legs, which were never really that great but he had size. Good stuff and good to see well done Dak.

His legs are still an important part of his game, as he showed today. Not as important as Hurts' or Fields', but it opens up more possibilities for him, as well as keeping the defense guessing. Also, I think it helps his confidence when he throws on the run.

The defense played awful and we barely beat a team with a backup QB. I'm glad we won and Dak played a great game. He had to or we would have lost. This team has problems heading into the playoffs. I guess some just can't see it.
We scored 40 against a pretty da_ good D, and our D FORCED 3 turnovers. If this team has problems heading into the playoffs, which it does, so does every other team heading into the playoffs!!

On one hand hurts isn’t there….. that offense isn’t changing much. But he’s obviously a way more dynamic player for them.

Flip side our d ain’t healthy. We need to get some key pieces back out there.

It's totally arguable that Hurts NOT being available actually played to the Eagles advantage.

It actually would slow Philly scoring pace while eating clock and opportune more 3rd and short stops on their side of the field. Minshew was terrific today, as good as it gets really.

If I'm Dallas I'm supremely confident for the potential 3rd match-up. Here's why.

Philadelphia has no answer for this passing game when it's clicking.

If I'm Dallas I push the petal to the metal the next contest entirely.

Let the Eagles believe Hurts will be as accurate and on target as Minshew was today to their demise... if they try and get in a shootout again, they will rue that decision.

If they play small ball again like in the 1st contest, we will be healthier and more prepared for the mobile QB.

Offensively? We got em now. Believe it.

Well...we likely won't hand them 7 again either.

Someone else mentioned that, and I agree. And even though we got 20 points off turnovers, we still had to work for them. It wasn't just given to us like their 7. The thing it, those turnovers prevented points for them. IMO those turnovers were the difference in the game. But hey, it really doesn't matter how you win. I just don't like our odds without the turnovers.

Those 2 fumbles by philly looked cheesy as fudgee. Js

Y'all knew darn well when we went up by 6 points we were gonna cover the SPREAD!!!

We got gifted 3 fumbles 2 by philly and 1 by Dak

How Philly didn't wind up with at least 2 of them was Miraculous Js

Y'all don't forget we were the favorites by 4 points

Look. In my personal opinion, we were lucky to win that game.

Sure, if we get them to turn the ball over 4 or more times, we can beat them in the playoffs. But that's no guarantee. The Eagles turned the ball over 4 times twice this season. They lost both those games.
They are better than us…. They will be tough in Philly…we will need mult turnovers. It’s possible.
