Romo just does a terrible job of getting the receivers the ball.

I think we need to just start out by getting the ball in someones hands. We don't need to run 15 yard routes with every receiver we have.

Lets just do some simple stuff that allows guys like Roy Williams to catch a ball and force people to tackle him.

Lets hit people quick and then eventually set up the downfield throws.

Against these blitz happy teams I would love to see someone on a drag route on almost every single snap.

Not sure what the deal is...

I'm jealous of Jay Cutler's production, arm and competitiveness. At least he plays with some passion and emotion.

He might come across *** a Whiny B, but he is producing with his wide array of 'seasoned' WR's (Bennett, Hester , Knox)

I think teams know that Dallas is ALWAYS looking for the big play on every single down.

Romo always looks downfield.

I think thats why Denver decided to run blitzes that they knew we would keep a certain number of backs and tight ends in to block so we wouldn't have any short passing options.

Just get the ball in our receivers hands and lets see what they can do with it.

Williams is plenty fast,it's just that it's straightline speed and he's a long strider. If you get the ball to Roy in stride he can move pretty good.Something else to consider, getting deep has alot to do with technique,it's not entirely about pure speed although it helps.Austin is basically the same type of player that Williams is,he may be slightly faster.

Crayton is better suited playing in the slot,he's more quick than fast.Hurd is a possession type receiver who lacks a big frame.Ogletree is an unknown, potential is just that unless/until you produce.

Witten is the best all around tight end in the league, but he cannot run with a pass catching tight end like a Gates or Winslow Jr./Vernon Davis.Bennett has more speed but needs to shut down MartyBTV until he learns the playbook or whatever is holding him back.

Barber is a pounder who can soften up a defense and he plays with emotion.Felix is not the fastest guy out there,he just can make moves that most backs can't.Felix has something you can't teach,a feel for the game if you will.Choice is a good role player,he will do whatever you ask of him.

Seems to me that they have enough pieces to compete. The coaching staff just needs to put the players in a better situation to succeed by adjusting some of the play calls. The players just need to execute the game plan, quit having stupid penalties that negate positive plays. If this team can do these two things this offense will start to click, they have the pieces.

If you want to talk about a team with no team speed,go back and look at this team when Billy Davis was trying to be a starting receiver.

It sure seems to me the blame can be put solely on the shoulders of our OC, the Princeton boy wonder.
