Dallas needs to be cautious on Romo contract

I think Romo proved himself last night. Clearly it was his worse game so far, but look what he did at the end. He threw so many int's he lost count but still drove us down the field to win. If we can win with Romo playing his worse game ever we should be in pretty good shape for the future.

The ESPN goofs wanted to see how Romo faced adversity. They got their wish.

maybe jerry is not a dumb as some thought. maybe being patient was the right move. jerry will sign romo and all will be fine.but those who wanted to throw out what ever his agent wanted are not a rich as jerry and now we know why

Wow, I wonder if Jerry was a genious for giving Aikman another contract after he threw for 5 intercetpions, and lost the game. And Kraft was genious for givng Brady a contract after throwing four interceptions on four occassions and losing all four games. How about Favre throwing 6 in a playoff game.

Point is, it happens even to the very best.............Romo has played pretty well so far and this is just a bump in the road, where he came back and won the game despite his bad game.

As a matter of fact, there is a quote from Jerry where is states that after last nights performance by Romo, his price went up.

Aikman has never thrown 5 interceptions in a game.

Brady certainly has never thrown 4 interceptions in a game.

Hell even Doug Flutie never threw that many interceptions in a game.

has Jason Campbell ever thrown for 300 yards?

thrown for more than 2 TD passes in a game?

won 5 straight games?

I was more impressed by Tony last night than in any game he has played as a Cowboy.

His post game interview alone is worth a new contract.

Perhaps you should do a little research.............

You can't be serious:confused:

Romo is awesome and i think he will be great but still lets not "Crown Him" just yet...

Brady and Manning have both lost games before, and believe it or not, they had something to do with the loss.

Sign Romo as soon as possible, you might get a great deal since he's coming off a horrible game.

Brady has done 4 ints in a game at least once in each season except his first 2.

Flutie threw 4 ints once in his career in the NFL.

Manning threw 4 ints once in the Regular Season and once in the playoffs

Aikman threw 5 in a game in 2000.

McNabb had a 2 int 2 fumbles lost game, another 3 int 1 fumble lost game.

So its obvious that having a horrendous game is limited to scrubs that have come into the league.

Favre threw six INTs in a playoff game and many think he walks on water.

I agree with Lab that if anything last night showed just how good Romo is. He was off, played terribly but when it counted, he got us into position to win the game.

I agree with this....he'll be back.
