The problem is, when you spend your money on extending average players, you put yourself in that position.I would have liked if they addressed it better, but also there's only so many things you can fix in one offseason.
They tried to go after Dean, missed out on Lloyd in the process. Didn't have enough trade capital otherwise, and all of this is what it is.
-Ferguson (Spann Ford at this point is just as good)
-Steele (terrible)
-Bland (awful)
In addition, spending high draft capital on INTERIOR offensive linemen is a failing proposition. No other successful team does this.
