After the 49ers beat the Cowboys 3 years ago in the playoffs with Jimmy G at QB... I said in this forum that the 49ers would beat the Cowboys 7 out of 10 times. Since then I have changed my stance, they would beat us 9 out of 10 times. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE for us to beat them. The reason they have beaten us 3 straight times is the reason they will beat us again. You do not LUCK your way into winning games against teams that do the things you cannot stop and the things you do they can easily stop. Jerry's arrogance never thought we would lose to them 3 years ago. And to show you how arrogant he actually was, he has reduced the amount of talent on this team each year since. And the 49ers showed how superior they were to us when they decided to get rid of Jimmy G and beat us with the last pick in the draft at QB. And for the cherry on top, they shipped Trey Lance to us, got a draft pick and tied up our salary cap with the most expensive emergency QB i the history of the NFL

Maybe if Purdy gets knocked out the game early? But even then I highly doubt it!

The only reason SOME of you are having a hard time believing we are this bad is because we were 12 - 4 the last 3 years. But go look at the games we lost the last 3 regular seasons and the way we lost in the playoffs. That is WHO we are when it comes to playing against good teams. Difference is we got a lot of good teams EARLY this year...so please don't be fooled IF we string some wins together later this year against cream puffs. This is a very bad football team.
Not fooled at all, but it would be crazy we would beat them, then get our hopes up and be the team that you said we are and lose to someone like Carolina later in the year lol

As it should be.
I mean fans constantly whine that we do not beat quality opponents or teams with winning records. Even though we beat the Steelers, who sit at 4-2.
So if we beat our nemesis on their turf. Yes fans should feel pretty good.

However we know what will happen, there will be all kinds of excuses why SF lost. Not reasons why we won.

But we need to win first.
Just saying weird things happen around here, we beat a team like this and lose to a team like carolina

Hell yeah because our players in a contract year boost their stats up in a great manner, and they secure the most lucrative bag they could ever imagine, Jerry is happy to pay it to them too!!
If he doesn't have some huge games, they should trade Parsons at the deadline for a 1st and a 3rd.

So we get the negative Coog on this. Where is the counterpart positive Coog?

Here is some info. Stats are part of the game. They happen. But yet Dallas fans whine about stat padding, when it is part of the game.
I guess Emmitt padded his all time rushing yards total, but that doesn't't count, as he won 3 SB's.

If this team goes on to win the SB by some miracle, does all their stats now count?

They'll blame it on the injury and if he's 100 percent. If he's in the game, he needs to play well. It would take him to get a lot of sacks for him to get the bag. I wouldln't be opposed to moving him. Hell look at the teams over the years that have moved big names, it is what it is!

I mean there have been some weird wins this season, things happen. With how the season has gone so far, wouldn't it be a clusterfudge to see the Cowboys beat the 49ers, a team they haven't beaten in years, in a season where many have said it's basically over after 6 games! Would it be weird, or you don't see this happening and coog needs to retire???? Please give your thoughts!!!
coog thinks talking in the 3rd person is cute. Yeah, retire already. smh

Sure, I mean it is the NFL, and the niners are struggling a little too. But frankly I would not put a dime on the Cowboys to beat any team at this point. Maybe as some of these young players develop, we get better.

Here’s the big issue for this team right now - their psyche at this point has to be awful. They know their entire coaching staff hangs by a thread, their owner/GM/Jocks and socks sorter has melted down publicly like a 13 year old brat and they know their schemes are ancient history.

Until this team can either get up on some good team early and hold on to win or have the mental and physical toughness to come back and win after being behind, they will wilt like a flower in the Texas heat when some team punches them early.

Hate to say it, but this team is hanging on by a thread. Couple more losses and this could turn into a free fall. Jerry set this season up like an arrogant fool who has no one around him who can either tell him the truth or worse, he has no one around him that gets it either. This season was lost before a single down of the regular season was played. And it was predictable.

I don't see it happening, but if it did we'd be 4-3, which was what I expected at that point before the season began. I just figured our three losses would be Baltimore, Detroit and San Francisco. Of course, I wasn't expecting our losses to be so one-sided. We did have the comeback against the Ravens after they built a huge lead, but the NO and Detroit losses have been too ugly to think we can beat any team with a pulse.

SF has the same 3-3 record as the Cowboys and it’s going to shock the world if we beat them? I know the Cowboys are bad, but I’m not sure they’re that pitiful that beating a 3-3 team would shock the world. Besides the Cowboys are 3-0 on the road this season.

If Dallas wins against the 49ers it is because the latter is not at 100% due to injuries; the only teams the Cowboys have beaten this year are those missing key players, or are in a state of flux themselves.
I see Dallas going on the road, getting smacked in the mouth on both sides of the ball and folding. Dallas lacks the heart, will and coaching required to play against the better teams on a competitive basis.
Thinking they will lose to both Atlanta and Houston as well…even if Dallas gets healthy, they couldn’t stop the run prior to injuries and their pass rush won’t get a lot of opportunities when their opponents can rush with impunity against them. Both Alanta and Houston have strong running games.

Wouldn’t it be great to see Houston blow out the Cowboys?! Now THAT would drive Jerry crazy!!
