I mean there have been some weird wins this season, things happen. With how the season has gone so far, wouldn't it be a clusterfudge to see the Cowboys beat the 49ers, a team they haven't beaten in years, in a season where many have said it's basically over after 6 games! Would it be weird, or you don't see this happening and coog needs to retire???? Please give your thoughts!!!
I would not be shocked if we won or lost 55-0.

This would not surprise me in the least…. The niners see us in disarray and may be too relaxed and we had our manhood tested vs lions so we will be alert and motivated…. If this does not play out and we wet the bed again we may win only 3 or 4 more games

I mean, it's extremely possible SF is 3-4 going into that game. Not exactly like they're all-world like people make them out to be.

no way. will not happen. SF will score on their first 5 posessions, 3 TDs and 2 FGs...and their defense will stifle us....they will stop the run with front 4, drop 7 into coverage. Dak will throw two interceptions.

its going to be another blow out

Yeah like the last two playoff games against San Fran. I swear some Dallas fans have a severe case of amnesia.

Sure, I mean it is the NFL, and the niners are struggling a little too. But frankly I would not put a dime on the Cowboys to beat any team at this point. Maybe as some of these young players develop, we get better.

Here’s the big issue for this team right now - their psyche at this point has to be awful. They know their entire coaching staff hangs by a thread, their owner/GM/Jocks and socks sorter has melted down publicly like a 13 year old brat and they know their schemes are ancient history.

Until this team can either get up on some good team early and hold on to win or have the mental and physical toughness to come back and win after being behind, they will wilt like a flower in the Texas heat when some team punches them early.

Hate to say it, but this team is hanging on by a thread. Couple more losses and this could turn into a free fall. Jerry set this season up like an arrogant fool who has no one around him who can either tell him the truth or worse, he has no one around him that gets it either. This season was lost before a single down of the regular season was played. And it was predictable.
Why hate to say it? If they crash and burn it improves draft position and they can make trades to acquire more draft capital. They can trade players like Parsons and Diggs. If they don't do it, it's their own fault for being stupid.

set the season up that way, but Is getting mad at people for calling him out, like make it make sense haze i'm so confused!!! We could get the win, who knows, this is a game that players will be UP for which you'll see better plays run, and the whole buffet put out for this game
I wonder what the Steelers are?

Since it’s a road game…never know. If this was a home game, no chance.

I hope you are right and I hope it's even worse than that! Jerry can shove it!

If Dallas wins against the 49ers it is because the latter is not at 100% due to injuries; the only teams the Cowboys have beaten this year are those missing key players, or are in a state of flux themselves.
I see Dallas going on the road, getting smacked in the mouth on both sides of the ball and folding. Dallas lacks the heart, will and coaching required to play against the better teams on a competitive basis.
Thinking they will lose to both Atlanta and Houston as well…even if Dallas gets healthy, they couldn’t stop the run prior to injuries and their pass rush won’t get a lot of opportunities when their opponents can rush with impunity against them. Both Alanta and Houston have strong running games.

Wouldn’t it be great to see Houston blow out the Cowboys?! Now THAT would drive Jerry crazy!!
And Dallas is missing half their starters, but that does not count?
This is exactly why Dallas has the worst fans.

What teams were missing key players as we had more missing than any opponent.

Double Standards.

I'm very interested to see what Parsons does. I want them to trade Parsons and Diggs and get that draft capital.

the way micah is playing with 1 sack who knows, and with Diggs contract who would want to take on that

Probably about as moot as it can get, but I’ll play….

While I don’t expect anyone to actively root against their team, does anyone really want to see Jerry holding court after the game boasting and feeling all vindicated with that ‘I told you so’ demeanor?

They ousted us in two of those supposedly glorious 12 win seasons, and smacked us around again last season for good measure.

A win here would do more harm than good, and Jerry standing there with that smirk figuring all is now even would be a little more than I want to attempt to handle.

I think the majority agrees that nothing good is going to happen without significant change, and the best thing that can happen to this franchise is another beat down on national TV. Sorry if you don’t agree.
Great post. Sadly, I agree. We need change. Big change. And they won't occur if we're middling around .500 with the occasional "marquee win". The last thing the fanbase needs is Jerry being proven "right", even for a week.

Let’s hope not. 3-14 is still in play at this point. If they do win because the fix is in, let’s hope for 4-13.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised. But to be honest, what would that change?
It would make Jerry even more unsufferable, pretty sure about that.

For the team, maybe get a little confidence back, but not much would actually change.

And before someone says anything, I will be rooting for them during the game. The 40 years of being a fan won't let me change. But once the game is over, it is what it is anymore (doesn't bother me as much as it used to sadly).
