Dallas should trade for...insert QB name...

Why not?

You have something against Chris Simms? He's got 'pedigree' ...

And McCown as a back up?

He's a pretty scrappy guy that can get you through a few games ... nothing special, but we're talking about a #2 guy here ...

So your solution is give up on two young guys who have yet to have a chance for two guys who have not shown anything either.

Plus whatever picks or players we will need to trade to get them.

I have a better plan.

Let's see the kids in 4 preseason games.

If Romo does not show he can do it, cut him and call Vinny.

Draft a mid-round guy in the draft. Pick up a FA vet.

Henson has his do-or-die camp next year.

You pick up the 3rd year on Bledsoe or pick up a new vet, and if Henson tanks you draft a QB in the first in 2007.

just my opinion, but if his last name wasnt Simms he probably wouldnt even be in the league
I don't get the man love for him either. I think he is out of the league in 5 or 6 years or less.

I was checking out some of that game to LTN (I love this no huddle on the NFL channel) and Bollinger did look pretty good. Nice to see J. Harrington beginning to turn the corner also. He looked really sharp.
I have the direct tv CBS East and West waiver, so got to see the whole thing.

Yes, Joey looked sharp, and I won't mention that the Jets first team D played w/o Robertson, Barrett, and Law, not to mention Abraham. ;)

I scoff at this statement ... Chris Simms has a LOT of NFL potential ..
Yep I seen it when he was @Texas every year when the Sooners kicked his potential real good.

Thank you .Humor is the best medicine for shear, spine tingling, head throbbing, frustration over some peoples inability to see the ridiculasness(is that a word?) of their thought processes or lack thereof. :bang2:

It's not a word but I think it should be one. Certainly self explanatory even for someone with presenility.

Dallas needs another true pure passer QB to get us into the playoffs. A quarterback that can run when nothing is there, but always looks for the pass and makes good reads. That'll quell the whole we need Quincy Carter / Michael Vick / Seneca Wallace / Scramble first Quarterback syndrome that's probably been around since we lucked into the playoffs on an easy schedule with Quincy.

Don't reckon you think ol' Drew kin gitterdun huh?Dang man aint nobody no good in this gotta have it gotta have it NOW world of let's be a G.M. in a cyber self grattification world of I'm smarter than anyone including Bill Parcells and anyone else who wants to think that Drew Henson might some day be an nfl caliber Qb and how dare you root for a bum like him, your a communist in sheeps clothing and if we had Michael Vick we wouldn't need Julius.glenn whitten and that malcontent key.Let's trade for him what do you guys think?

Unless someone can assure a trade for Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, can we at least see Henson and Romo play a freaking game before we start trading for other teams scrubs.

Geeze BZ...you're asking a lot aren't you?

Serious question - although I know it will never happen, what do you think (honestlY) we'd have to give up in order to trade for Peyton Manning?
