And Davis started only due to injury.

He's referring to Ferguson. Ferguson was a starter for us.

Esentially, we got a 6th and 4th rounder and Zach Thomas, for Jason Ferguson, Akin Ayodele, Anthony Fasano, and Keith Davis.

just not what we needed at the time. we finally addressed the OL but that should have been the OL. nothing against fasano and i hope he does well in miami. ayodele as well. we got a very high 4th round pick back, and if all bumped up it would be the last of the 3rd round.

And I agree.

I thought Curtis looked like the better player last year and figured Fasano would get moved.

But I thought they'd get a 3rd for Fasano alone.

A fourth and the 22 probably wouldn't get you higher than 17. Still, you'd have a much better chance at one of the top CBs.

Edit, since it is the first pick of the 4th round, maybe you could do a little better.

could care less about akin, but i hate to give up on fasano. i undestand he never would have started here but I thought he was a pretty good talent and vastly superior to Curtis.
