The former coach of the New York Giants Jim fassel once said, I always like a home team coming off an away lost to beat an away team coming off a home win the following week. Well that's what you have this week when the Dallas Cowboy's America's team faces off against one of it's main rivals the Washington Commanders.

The Cowboys feel like they ate too much garlic right now, and have a bad taste in there mouth, the Washington Commanders will be there mouth wash. I Fully expect this team to regroup, refocus and come out and play extremly hard this week. Coming home after two tough away games is going to be like coming home after you worked all day and finding your wife has cooked your favorite dinner, has got your favorite beer or wine ready and got you thinking of night delights. Yes the Cowboy's should feel right at home this week.

This doesnt mean it will be easy. The Skins, are a tough team. They have a very solid group of guys on defense. I believe there in the top Ten and they know Romo and the Cowboys well. Romo will have to continue to play smart and not make the big turnover if the Cowboys are going to win this game. So that takes me into my first prediction. I think dallas committ's to the run game this week in a big way and run's for over 200 yards. Romo's stat line is the following

20-28 212 yards 2 td's o ints.

Barber 14 rushes 86 yards 1td
Choice 8 rushes 67 yards 1td
Jones 8 rushes 63 yards

I think skins will have a tough time running the ball this week. I don't expect them to gain over 100 yards of rushing and I don't see them doing much in the passing game. Not having Cooley will hurt them, but the skins will be desperate and will pull out some gadget plays to try and create big plays. Look for reverse passes, a flea flicker, something by the skins to try and create something. With that said I expect them to struggle overall , and Im not seeing a big day by campbell.

Campbell's numbers 19-32 188 yards 1 td 1 int. He will be under pressure all day , I see dallas having another 4 sacks .

My score Dallas 30-Skins 16

If the Cowboys cant beat a team that lost to the Bucaneers, I think it's safe to expect a loss to the Skins.

The Cowboys have beeen on a weekly prove to me basis for a long time...

All I have to say is they better not lose. That would be humiliating.

24-14 Dallas. Still, there is hope. I would be very surprised if you guys score 30 points. We haven't given up that many points in a long, long time.

Edit: long. long time I guess means two weeks ago. Haha. Against ATL we did have an int returned for a td. Before that it had been 30 games or so.

Except against ATL ;)

But I do agree with you. I don't see the 'Boys getting past 21-24 on the scoreboard, if they get that many.

Last year, against a D worse then this, they scored 24 and 14, and 7 of those 24 were on a late garbage points TD drive

Yeah...garbage points...that only put us behind by 2 points with enough time to get in field goal range with an onside kick. Maybe you don't know what garbage time really is since the Skins are rarely ever ahead by enough for points to actually come in 'garbage time'.

With that out of the way the Skins will play us hard. They always do. I'm going to say right now I will not be shocked, in the least, if we lose to the Skins. It just wouldn't shock me.

I'm going with Dallas winning 27-17.

.

9 point lead with under a minute left and requiring an on sides kick (that >10 percent success rate makes it a sure thing) to make it interesting?

Garbage points. The game was well over at that point

I think Dallas wins, but doesn't score over 21 points. The Commanders get "garbage points" to make it look closer at the end, 21-13 (even though technically the Commanders could recover the onsides kick score a TD and get the 2 point conversion! So I take back the garbage points)

I was worried against GB....and rightly so.

This game....not so much.

The Skins always play us tough....tougher than probably any other opponent they play all year....but this time it won't matter. They're going t be facing a pissed off Cowboys team next week, and the Skins just climaxed against the Broncos. This week will be a huge let down for Skins fans, whom are taking the win against the Falcons as a sign of things to come.

It's not.

34-10 Cowboys.

This is probably the biggest margin of victory that I've ever "predicted" on here...and at the risk of being labeled a supershillastic, blinder wearing, pom pom waving homer. I think I'm going to be dead on.
