All im predicting is a win. Dont really care what the score is. But preferably we demolish them but I cant hold that to this team.

I hope for Dallas-24ish
'Skins-14ish.

I fear 'Skins- 21 (14 off turnovers)
Cowboys- 13 becuase we try to run but cannot due to underachieving OL.

The Colombo injury is huge. The Cowboys have been surprisingly healthy this year (Camp Cupcake gets the credit perhaps?), but perhaps the season will finally begin to wear on the 30+ offensive linemen.

no comment.........

Dallas is on a weekly "prove it to me" basis

This.

The Cowboys are like an unsettled weather pattern, too tough to predict. That said, the Commanders defense is not bad and if they frustrate our offense like GB and Denver did, they might score enough points to beat us at home. Not expecting it, but it could happen.:

I have worried that the OL would be an issue for us by now due to age and overall lack of depth. I think Free will be OK against the pass,,,an unknown against the run.

For some reason, this OL can not handle stunts and blitzes,,,I can not figure it out. I want to blame Gurode, since he calls plays for the OL, but I just dont' know. They tend to pass block against linemen well. Go figure.

Not to go all drama here, but this game for me will say a lot about this team. They got knocked in the teeth in GB. IF they take care of business this week, I think they will be fine. IF they lose, the whole season could go down the tubes.

Well that doesn't sound good for us because we neither stunt, nor blitz. It seems like every time the Steelers cross two linebackers on a blitz, one of them gets through. I can confidently say we have never, ever tried to do something similar (of course we run a 4-3, but still).

Dallas - 27
Washington - 14

Dallas bounces back angry. Commanders aren't good. They aren't even average. We're a bottom 5 team in the league. No depth, no leadership, no nothing. I can't imagine even fumbles bouncing their way this weekend.

I think the Cowboys start slow and eventually wear down the Skins and RW finally has a big game...yes I said it....a big game for the big bust in order to atone for that crappy performance last week.

Cowboys 27-Skins 17

24-14 Dallas. Still, there is hope. I would be very surprised if you guys score 30 points. We haven't given up that many points in a long, long time.

Edit: long. long time I guess means two weeks ago. Haha. Against ATL we did have an int returned for a td. Before that it had been 30 games or so.

Went to the archives for ya. 10/29/2007

Following 52-7 blowout loss to Patriots, Commanders wondering how it happened

And it was about 30 games between that Patriots loss and the Atlanta game. Are you insinuating that the Cowboys are going to blow us out like the Pats did?

Actually I applaud you for knowing that it was "about 30 games" :lmao:

I remember one of the Commanders genuises saying after the game... "its not like they beat us bad, we made them earn every yard they got" :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Washington, D.C.: Rough game for Romo and the Cowboys. Beginning of their annual late-season swoon or just one bad game?

Michael Wilbon: Fair question. I don't think the Cowboys are particularly good, so this is about what I expect of them...They're going to pound the Commanders next week though. Now, if Dallas goes home and loses that game they're done...and maybe it would suggest the Commanders are starting to actually get better.

So what's Dallas's excuse? We've played seven common opponents, but we've given up 600 fewer yards through the air. A weak schedule definitely has played its part, but it's not the whole reason we are doing well against the pass.

Edit: I should add that I think YPA is a better stat than overall passing yards, but just pointing out that Miles Freaking Austin is not going to run right by us.

he's likely to put a double move on Mr. Bites-Alot Hall for a big gainer at some point

It's actually Carlos Rogers that bites on the double moves. Not Hall.

We held a GB team with much better Skill position players to 10 points (not counting the Turnover that give them the ball on the 3), so Coming off a loss and it's at the "Death Star", I see us putting the Commanders back on top of the NFL Trash heap 31-17.:starspin
