Right! It's funny, just reading the headline makes us wonder why a curtain costs 295 million.I didn't watch the full video, but are they going to put up curtains for the soccer matches?
First of all it's not Jerry stadium how many times do we have to explain to you this stadium belongs to the city of Arlington and the city of Arlington is lucky that Jerry paid for half of it and it's still owned by the city of Arlington...Is he asking the taxes payers to foot the bill?
Damn, that is sobering to think about. Doesn't seem that long ago that I was sitting watching the first game in the new stadium (stupid Giants). Time is a trip. Goes fast. It’s a near two decade old stadium at this point, that’s a lot of wear and tear and needs for updates…the stadium is probably at it’s mid point in terms of lifespan and I would imagine by 2030 they start talking about the next stadium which would probably come before 2050…
Sentences...use them.First of all it's not Jerry stadium how many times do we have to explain to you this stadium belongs to the city of Arlington and the city of Arlington is lucky that Jerry paid for half of it and it's still owned by the city of Arlington...
Jerry leases the stadium back from the city of Arlington therefore this would come from the taxpayers you guys don't have any clue on what ownership means ownership means that they pay for most of the upgrades that would be the city of Arlington they get tons of money because of tourism because of the Dallas Cowboys because of that stadium for people coming for road games and all the other crap that the city of Arlington uses for that stadium it's not just Jerry all that stuff that happens in the stadium like the motocross and all those other things for bull riding and fights the city of Arlington gets most of that money...
So let's stop there sure Jerry probably pays for a large part of maintenance he gets the money for all the OR at least a large part of concessions since he is part owner of the concession company that serves most of the NFL stadiums or a lot of them so Jerry making money but that's not his stadium the city of Arlington owns that stadium and therefore things like this soccer thing coming up the city of Arlington are the ones who are benefiting most from the world Soccer League coming here for those nine games therefore they would pay for a lot of the upgrades I don't see how you guys just lost sight of that.. Just in case you're now well informed...
They are not upgrading the stadium because it's starting to fall apart it needs maintenance this is solely to completely convert this stadium for the World Cup FIFA9 games however it's gonna long they gotta transform the whole entire field completely different from a football field and they're gonna rearrange seating and put more TV's and other things all around and make the environment welcome for world people there's like so many things that are gonna change that's what the money and the upgrades are for and the fact that they're gonna have to take it down and make it back into the Cowboys football field it takes a lot of work to transform a stadium into a soccer stadium because this is a world FIFA soccer event this isn't your basic soccer event coming here or they would have done it somewhere else.. So 295 million or two fully converted and then deconvert it and yeah the stadium itself will benefit for some of the upgrades and new paint and who knows what they're doing to it but it's still owned by the city of Arlington people not Jerry Jones Jerry Jones pays city of Arlington he's back and even though he's responsible for a lot of things inside the stadium he does not own it...Damn, that is sobering to think about. Doesn't seem that long ago that I was sitting watching the first game in the new stadium (stupid Giants). Time is a trip. Goes fast.
this has nothing to do with these renovations they've always had a way to close those if they want to this is to transform it into a Soccer League and the sun and the glare is the dumbest narrative I've ever heard in here of a story to be talked about is this a big deal any bigger deal than the weather games that the rest of the NFL have to endure really bad wind sometimes bad winds snow and rain and storms and open stadiums and yes the sun this is the most ridiculous debate I've ever seen is about the curtains because it only happens three games a year and only effects 3 plays a year and you're trying to tell me that all those stadiums with bad turf or bad weather never affect games they'll talk about roofs on them do they make those teams have closed stadiums should we do that now should every game that is affected by the the weather we should have a week long debate about how they should be forced to put a Dome on their stadium then we can talk about the curtains..Jerry vs the Sun, who thought that would be a storyline this year
Yeah I have that shot over my bed it's a framed picture maybe I'm the bad luck maybe I should take that picture down and burn it and then maybe our luck will change...Damn, that is sobering to think about. Doesn't seem that long ago that I was sitting watching the first game in the new stadium (stupid Giants). Time is a trip. Goes fast.

because it's a really dumb storyline every year because it happens only like 3 plays a year and maybe two to three games where it's even a possibility somehow it becomes a story because it's Jerry but the rest of the league who have bad turf like washington's turf had an effect on the game last week nobody talks about that not in a way that they make it a news story and all the other stories about bad weather I mean I've seen some Buffalo games where they throw the football they had to run 55 times on both sides and it was the worst football I've ever seen but nobody talks about the wind and the snow affecting the game all but some sun glare, that should be a national news story...Jerry vs the Sun, who thought that would be a storyline this year
That's why you remain delusional and clueless because it has all the information you need to know that the Dallas Cowboys do not own AT&T stadium the city of Arlington does maybe you ought to read it 'cause then you'd find out the truth and the facts so you're not writing inaccurate information try that for once read it because it's all true it's all an absolute fact but you don't wanna hear facts you'd rather start narratives and spread false lies but that's OK we get guys like you who just say things and you parrot other things like little sheep around the Internet and then make everyone believe it's true when it has no truth in it at all Jerry does not own AT&T the city of Arlington does Jerry leases it back when he needs to use it but most of those events are the city of Arlington benefiting from them not Jerry the city of Arlington uses that stadium and benefits from all the stadium's profits for the events that are not football..I ain’t reading all that drivel. Best of luck to ya.
Which is ridiculous if you think about it.It’s a near two decade old stadium at this point, that’s a lot of wear and tear and needs for updates…the stadium is probably at it’s mid point in terms of lifespan and I would imagine by 2030 they start talking about the next stadium which would probably come before 2050…
