As much as I think I guy like Washington would help are running game and passing game, Meyer is Witten clone and Kincaid is a stud we should pass the 1st round ones. We can get a good tight end in the 4th again.Ferguson is legit. Hendershot after that interception bounced off his chest never got another pass but he has potential. Hopefully they both are living a Dak’s field in the offseason.

I wouldn't love him as our first round pick, because I just don't think we are going to use our TEs very much. But I wouldn't hate it either. We need receivers in the worst way and Kincaid shows very little bust risk.
Exactly and as far as I am concerned that has to be a factor when drafting bottom of the first round. People got a little spoiled with the homerun that the team hit with Tyler Smith. Not all first rounders work out nearly that well.

Sounds like Pollards is getting the tag and they know they need another offensive weapon. Kincaid is the best pass catching TE in the class. If the right WR is there in round 1, I think they go that route.

He’s a stud.

Most natural pass catching TE in the class. I don’t love him at 26 but he’s a good player.

Goedert like.
He isn't the Cowboys type of TE, but he may fit what MM wants. He is a mismatch in the passing game. Not sure if I want to spend a #1 pick on a TE, but if he or Mustgrave fall to 58, I'm on board. They both are modern TE's who makes are passing attack more dangerous and are upgrades over Shultz.

I should add, it's not that I dislike Kincaid as a prospect, but I would wager good money this team feels like it's in a good spot (right, wrong, or indifferent) at TE with Ferguson, Hendershot, and McKeon. I think they are going to let Schultz walk and this will be a position they think they go light in terms of salary while going heavy at another (like RB for example).
They did hit on Shultz in the 4th round, looks like the same with Ferguson, they might just go the same route. However, MM might want a different type of TE, more of an oversized receiver, who is a mismatch in the passing game.

Not participating in the combine- broken bone in back. This sounds like what we do in the 2nd?

Here’s a lukewarm take: Barring major injuries for either player, Luke Musgrave will have a better/more productive career than Washington.

Don't forget about Musgrave, might be the most athletic one in the entire class.

Therein lies the problem. While considered one of the more explosive TEs in the draft, Musgrave has had his share of injury issues.
Hoping 1 falls to our 2nd rd pick, that's where it makes sense to draft one for me.

Fans/media will drop Washington after he runs slower than some OLinemen...

Good player but I'm not taking a tight end round 1 unless the body type and testing is George Kittle. I still don't buy the kyle Pitts hype. He might as well transition to wr and be a Tee Higgins

I can see it, no question. Washington is there as a blocker but may never arrive as a receiver. His fit is very, very offense specific.

If he’s fully healthy Musgraves is TE1 for me.

He’s the best blend of everything and I think he’s gonna fly at the combine.

Musgrave compared to Kincaid

reminds me of

Darren McFadden compared to Emmitt Smith

McFadden was big and uber athletic but lacked balance.

Excellent point, heard one of Musgrave's weaknesses is that he doesn't break enough tackles.

I think he would be Jermichael Finley in this offense.

Both are similar in size 6’4 240-245

I'm on the fence.

I think he has the best hands in this draft and I'm including WRs. However, he is light weight and might have a pedestrian forty time.

Too small and too old. He will give us nothing as a blocker. Give me the upside of Washington.
