He just completely abused one of the best tackles in football to get a sack on the first play for Indy, his 8th of the year.

The thing is if SD got Ware and we got Merriman we would all be saying what a beast Ware is and then wonder when Merriman would take off. The thing is Merriman is lucky nuff not to have Mike Zimmer as the DC.

i don't really understand why so many dallas fans have it in for him. We chose Ware over him, he was mad, and developed a chip on his shoulder. Big deal. i would expect no less. he's a footballplayer, and you use the things that happen to motivate you. i say congrats on the good season and we'll see in a few years if Ware or him turn out better. I'm not worried personally.

Ware and Merriman are both outstanding talents. They're both starting and doing well. There isn't any reason why the Cowboys and Bolts couldn't make out well here; why both the players can't enjoy success. It's quite possible they can.

Once again, Merriman is not learning to play a new position in a new defense. Anyone who is paying attention would surmise that Merriman would probably have a better a better rookie year than Ware.

Parcells himself has said they are playing a very vanilla version of the 3-4 this year so as to not overload all the kids. Next year expect some of the wraps to come off, and I suspect there won't be all these weekly "Merriman vs. Ware" posts.

I said it on draft day - I'll say it again. Gimme Merriman over Ware (with all due respect).

I'd like to see how effective Merriman would be if asked to assimilate Ware's role.

Thank god there's another thread about Merriman/Ware. You really can't have enough of these.
