Stop gassing him up because he chased Justin Fields out of bounds 40 yards down the field.

The speed is nice, but he doesn't look instinctive out there. Played hesitant in the Vikings game. Ya'll are already crowning him when he's yet to do anything, unlike Sam Williams who makes splash plays every game.
He had 7 tackles 6 solo against the Giants. You’re giving up on him after a couple games? :lmao2:

Agreed he has not proven anything yet. However, he is coming off a serious injury and rehabilitation. He also did not have OTA's, training camp, etc. Give him time and let's see if he develops.

He's proven a lot just by getting back on the field much sooner than anyone expected. Come on folks. Think about what kinda heart, dedication and work ethic it took for him to even be active on game day. He's proven himself and accomplished a lot.

A rookie who missed all of the draft process, preseason, training camp, and every other practice up until a couple of weeks ago is slow on his reads? Shocking!

I find this a suspiciously random post. Kid's played in 4 NFL contests. Noone is crowning him anything. If you don't like his upside for whatever reason: bully for you.

Damone Clark has the same number of solo tackles in the first four games of his career that Micah Parsons had in the first four games of his career which is 11.

Demarcus Ware had 10. Von Miller had 13.

Damone and Micah also had the exact same number of combined tackles in their first four games, which was 17.

Apparently his lack of contribution is equal to the that of some of the best linebackers in history.

Bruce Carter was definitely a conundrum of a player. Sometimes he looked elite, then others you forgot he was out there

Bruce Carter was pretty unappreciated here not for nothing. He was like a new Dexter Coakley

Always thought Brice Carter was a positive on the Cowboys linebacking drafting ledger . Damone Clark has a bright future , run defense has improved .

Right now we are playing with house money with him on the field. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY saw this coming. Him being on the field and contributing is a miracle.

All things considered, it also speaks volumes that they are giving him significant snaps over the other LB's.

Bruce Carter was so unbelievably lazy. Who can remember that play that went for a touchdown when he didn't even bother turning around and tackling the guy near the sideline? I've never seen a linebacker blessed with so many skills and probably the laziest player on the team. He made Darren Hambrick look like a workhorse.
A “voluntary” workhorse.

And I’m not even sure Quinn et al have solidified what they want him to do. Once his has his niche, he’s going to be a Rolando McClain without the psychological fragility.
