Tom: What a jerk.

I meant to say his resume is so impressive of courseI'm very sad. I really liked him, I assume everyone did, he was one of those types.
My resume is so impressive. I did not know he was all pro as a player. As coordinator his Cowboys led the league in scoring twice.
He is 10th all time in wins (or 9th, I heard 2 things)
Reeves is the embodiment, the poster child, of the fact that you need that Super Bowl win to get in to the Hall of Fame.
His coaching career was way better than Tom Flores and Bill Cowher, much better
But Reeves doesn't even get mentioned in conversations come HOF voting time.
I did not know this:
"After negotiations with the Dallas Cowboys (which, coincidentally, had [Wade] Phillips as their head coach), Reeves became a consultant for the team in February 2009. This role was short-lived, however, as it only lasted two days before Reeves turned in the keys to his office and left. Reeves and the Cowboys could apparently not reach conclusions as to Reeves's role with the team. In the days following, it was revealed that the dispute came down to a contract clause specifying a number of hours per week to be worked, which Reeves deemed insulting."

Nothing mentioned what all 3 died from, I wonder why. I have a great guess.RIP.
in the past few days we lost Madden, Reeves, Betty White....tough ending to the year.
Two of the greatest NFL coaches, and one of the funniest women in show business ever.First, Madden, then Betty White, now Dan Reeves. What a crappy Holiday week.
