Dan Reeves was a great player, Coach and person. One of Coach Landry's better players to follow in Coach Landry's footsteps and do very well.

Will miss him.

A winner for sure. I remember not being happy when he went to the Giants as head coach. Teams just get better wherever he goes. I was not surprised when he took Atlanta to the SB. R.I.P.

On this day 55 years ago, January 1, 1967, Dan Reeves played in our first NFL Championship Game against the Packers. Reeves rushed for 47 yards, caught 4 passes for 77 yards, and scored a touchdown.

I'm very sad. I really liked him, I assume everyone did, he was one of those types.
My resume is so impressive. I did not know he was all pro as a player. As coordinator his Cowboys led the league in scoring twice.
He is 10th all time in wins (or 9th, I heard 2 things)

Reeves is the embodiment, the poster child, of the fact that you need that Super Bowl win to get in to the Hall of Fame.
His coaching career was way better than Tom Flores and Bill Cowher, much better
But Reeves doesn't even get mentioned in conversations come HOF voting time.
