This team needs Jeanty and needs him way more than a WR. Dak can hand the ball off with the best of them but to have him throw another 6-10 poor passes a game is insane.

It will be hard for the Cowboys to pass on Jeanty, but it is possible with the deep running back class. It would be a disaster if the Commanders got him. Heck it could be bad if the Commanders got Luther Burden.

He reminds me of a smaller version of dj Moore from the Bears. Would like a creative oc to get the most out of him
He kind of reminds of of a more complete version of Aiyuk as a prospect. Might have the same upside, but a year or so ahead on the development curve

I think we would be lucky to have him,we may be drafting lower and will miss out on him.

This draft is deep at RB and DT. I would love to get Burden in the first, they need to add some speed opposite of Lamb.

One of my later running back pet cats is DJ Giddens, I feel like he is vastly underrated.

I like the player but wonder if the Cowboys would consider him as they have a distinct receiver prototype.
Going after types has killed us in the past.

Shouldn’t even be a factor IMO.

They have been doing that even before Jerry bought the team. I can't remember them taking a high WR under 6 feet since I am been a fan since the early 80's.

We traded for Cooks…sure hope we aren’t dumb enough tonight not have this kid on our radar bc he’s 5’11.

Burden is a good WR.

But, how does he help the run game and stopping the run? You know, the 2 biggest issues for the Cowboys.
Ideally, one of the top DTs in the first, come back with a RB in the 2nd, maybe another OL in the third.

Use FA to try to grab another WR.

Keep an eye on Stephon Diggs.........he's probably looking at a one-year prove it deal. He and Trevon always wanted to play together. This has Jerry written all over it.

On April 3, 2024, Diggs, along with a sixth-round selection in the 2024 NFL draft and a fifth-round selection in the 2025 NFL draft, was traded to the Houston Texans in exchange for a second-round selection originally acquired from the Minnesota Vikings in the 2025 NFL draft.[134] NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Texans restructured Diggs' four-year contract extension from the Bills into a one-year, $22.52 million deal.[135]

In his Texans debut, Diggs had 33 receiving yards with two receiving touchdowns in a 29–27 win over the Indianapolis Colts.[136] In Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Diggs scored his first career rushing touchdown.[137] On October 27, in Week 8 against the Colts, Diggs suffered a non-contact injury to his knee and did not return. It was later revealed to be a torn ACL, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.[138]

It's looking like a very good top heavy DT draft.
Would rather dip again at DT than draft a WR.

I don’t trust these fools to draft a RB in the latter rounds so I’m all over Jeanty if he’s there. This dude is the sole reason Boise St is even in the playoff.

Although it is really early for anything related to the draft if Dallas doesn't address the DT spot in Free Agency they will be forced to draft one in the first round of the draft. Mazi is the only DT signed for 2025.

Trade back and draft Kenneth Grant, T J Sanders, and Kaleb Johnson. Sign T. Higgins in free agency.

They did, but that trade really never worked out. That trade could of been more MM driven then the scouting department as he has had success with smaller receivers in the past.

It is something to watch, also will be dependent on who is the HC, who is running the offense as we know this front office gives a lot of weight to their staff in the draft room.
