Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the five Rooney brothers met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for 2 1/2 hours Tuesday, Aug. 26, as they aim to resolve the Steelers ownership restructuring. Goodell characterized the meetings as "another step in the process."

How many receivers does that give them? They have at least Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer, Steve Smith, Domenik Hixon, Sinorice Moss and Mario Manningham. They will probably cut Monk next week.

he's not that thick at all. he's a pure receiver. the question is, how has he come back from his injury? he always had talent to be an NFL receiver imo.

Nope *** Toomer. I hate bringing in players from our division. TO was an exception he was more of a hired gun. I'd take westbrook though.
