Can someone explain this time. He gets signed so he is on their 75 man roster? He can't be added to the pratice squad until after the final cuts and he clears waivers? So the giants signing him would indicate that wanted him for their 53 man roster right ?

so he's on their roster, gets cut, no one else wants to sign him to a 53 roster. giants can then put him on the practice squad.

they probably have an idea of their practice squad, figure he's an upgrade over one of those guys.

How much are the Giants out for bring Monk in and seeing if he's got anything? Airfare and $100 a day for room and board? Does he get airfare back to Arkansas when he is cut?
