what if Carr himself wants in that $50-55 mil ..?Lol they'd be dumb ** to offer him that. I'm surprised they don't go after Carr
Id rathe pay Carr 55 than Jones 45what if Carr himself wants in that $50-55 mil ..?
That’s what I’m thinking. Carr probably wants the same and will likely get more.what if Carr himself wants in that $50-55 mil ..?
In fairness, he had no weapons other than SB & still got them to the playoffs. So, I gotta give him some credit.Daniel Jones had 1 average year and now thinks he can get 45m? That is just lunacy.
I mean should those weapons be demanding top dollar contracts? Or their average defenders? He was not impressive in any way and did nothing to suggest he is even above the Kirk Cousins line but he wants a top 5 contract. In fairness, he had no weapons other than SB & still got them to the playoffs. And that's never happened before in the league.I mean should those weapons be demanding top dollar contracts? Or their average defenders? He was not impressive in any way and did nothing to suggest he is even above the Kirk Cousins line but he wants a top 5 contract.
Usually when a player has a breakout year in a contract the breakout is not reaching the level of mediocrity. Unless Russell Wilson is the baseline then I just don’t see what he is hoping for here. He is legitimately the 3rd or 4th best QB available if he hit open market. And that's never happened before in the league.

If those are the two options, I choose ‘start over’.And that’s exactly how we got to this same spot with Prescott,
What are they supposed to do? It’s either pay him well beyond what he is worth or start over.
Pay a mediocre QB no better than Kirk Cousins like he's a top 5 QB in the league?Usually when a player has a breakout year in a contract the breakout is not reaching the level of mediocrity. I think teams are starting to realize that ‘today’s market’ is totally out of whack and teams just need to start setting limits and saying no.Welcome to todays market
