Want Dak to request a trade just put him on the scout team as a LB. It won’t take long
How do you know Dak, through his agent, hasn’t indicated that he would entertain a trade? You don’t know. Obviously the Cowboys would never indicate he has as it would reduce his trade value. The Cowboys are one of the five worst teams in the NFL. Certainly Dak has authorized his agent to consider trades if the Cowboys want to move him.

Dak has his money. Very lucrative contract. He’s under contract to a crap team. Don’t know what Dallas could get for him, but I doubt there are many teams Dak would veto being traded to. Dak is not the Cowboys’ problem. The team’s owner is.

Everyone on the planet would know if Dak asked for a trade, his agent would have told every insider about it. Dak doesn’t give 2 craps about going anywhere he gets paid good bad or IR he’s happy . Just imagine a job that you have no worries about anything because your money is guaranteed and there’s nothing they can do to you for the next few year's regardless of productivity , you win even if they cut you, great gig if you can get it

The problem…we still take a huge dead cap hit.

if we trade Dak in early 2026…

POST-6/1 TRADE

2026 Dead Cap: $28,005,000
2027 Dead Cap: $34,000,000
2026 Savings: $40,000,000

lol you took this as me wanting that loser Daniel Jones in Dallas?

No.

This is the Giants moving on from their loser QB instead of keeping up the charade. Something Dallas doesn't have the guts to do with Dak.
I wasn't suggesting anything about what you wanted. I thought your comment was about what it would indicate if the Cowboys signed Jones, as some in this thread suggested, and that's what my comment was about. If I misunderstood your intent I apologize for that

Jones will be a Raider later this week. Minshew is out for the season.
