We've already seen how good Dak was without weapons. Back in 2018 prior to acquiring Cooper.

The Giants invested massive dollars in Golladay and then drafted WRs in early rounds nearly yearly.
Daniel Jones was bad with those guys and they have wasted on the vine.
But last year with THOSE same guys he was far better.
Jones has simply developed.
At year 4 for the first time he almost as good as Dak was as a rookie.

Nobody actually believes that. They just say it for spite. NO one is THAT dumb to think the horrid Jones is better than Dak. Giants will regret that one REAL fast if they havent already.
Hold on a second. You know these guys don't play in a vacuum, right? When has Jones had any weapons? All while Dak is throwing to Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup. You realize that makes a difference, right? Tua didn't all of a sudden get better, he got Waddle and Hill. Not everyone is Mahomes or Rodgers.

We saw just how good Dak was to start the 2018 season when he had Daniel Jones WRs. So lets not pretend Dak is so much better than Jones. He's not. These QBs are not far apart. Only in stats and because of their support. Not because of them.

How about stop doing this next man up garbage with QBs and pay them what they’re actually worth.

I always am curious what these guys would get on the open market.

Nothing new here except the amount. Any / every team that pays one player such a large portion of their cap will have problems keeping other stars.

All of what you say is true except for the "not far apart" thing. And Jones had a bad Oline the first half of his career.

So why are you even saying that Jones is any good? Because his team made the 2nd round? He had 14 passing TD's. He's been a pick machine his entire career. The two QB's are NOT close.

They allowed Jones and his agent to put them over a barrel because the team only had one franchise tag. Jones isn’t worth close to what they paid him.
Jones is your classic coach killer. Hes high end backup material.

Blame the market
I blame the teams for the market.

It’s like they are all willing to forfeit a shot at ever winning a Super Bowl just to maintain relevancy.

Year after year we see how powerful the rookie QB contract is but teams would rather pay mediocrity to maintain mediocrityZ

If you have Mahomes then by all means pay him 40+ million but if Dak Prescott is your QB then why are you paying this type of money for good regular season play only?

The GM's are real people who have to protect their jobs. Just throwing away QB's is a good way to get fired. The QB's effectively have their teams trapped and are using it to their financial advantage. That's why this continues despite the fact that giving a second or third tier QB 20% of the cap hasn't worked out for anyone.

At some point there is going to be a correction.

Because if you don't you have to start over and get another guy in there. You invested all the time and energy into this guy only to turn him over?? With us love also plays a huge factor lol

Let me know when Jones does something like this:

Dak Prescott's 445 passing yards are the most ever against a Bill Belichick-coached Patriots team, including the playoffs.

How do you determine that the QBs aren't close? Stats? Those are a product of support. Daniel Jones isn't throwing to Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup. So how are you coming up with this? Just based on stats? Dak sucked before we traded for Cooper. Absolutely sucked. Jones had a halfway decent season last year without targets. I don't think Dak would have done any better on the Giants. He has never shown to do anything without good targets.

Let me know when Dak does that without targets. You guys act as if these guys are on an even playing field. They're not. Your support means a lot. How good your WRs are is everything to QBs not at the top tier.

Waiting for Hurts to sign a $345 million contract and watch them implode.

I hope they do that. Because what Hurts has never done so far, is be a good pocket passer against pass defenses. He's a great QB under the RPO when defenses are selling out against the run. But what happens when they don't have to sell out against the run? You get the 2021 Jalen hurts.
